I haven't done so and I'm only in week one of edge I've been seeing a lot of YouTube videos showing a regular plane pH water feeding in between nutrient feeds... Is this needed? Im growing in Rockwool by method of drain to waste

in rockwool drain to waste you must give nutrient at each watering
if people say that you have to give water every 3 or 4 feeds then they are overfertilizing their rockwool block and creating salts accumulation
that they are forced to dilute with periodic water only feeds ..
just stay around 1.2 mS at start and check the runoff after each watering or with a siringe by taking some liquid in the cube

you want runoff EC= feed EC
if you are in the sweet spot the ph of the runoff will be slightly mless acidic than the ph of the feed .. thats a good sign
ex : ph feed=5.5
ph runoff=5.8

good

I think voice to text took "week one of veg" and made it "week one of edge".
Love voice to text.. better than "week one of keg"..

No plain vater.. ;-)

Your best friend will be a PH meter and/or ppm meter.. they are cheap and a good learning tool..
