Bloom Nutes for all of bloom?

Ive been giving my plants AN sensi bloom Nutes for weeks 1-4. But I was told later in the bloom to use other Nutes and only a little bloom Nutes added, followed by flushing in the final weeks. What should I be using 2 weeks before the flushing?

Thanks.

Hello, I've been working with bloom only ( no veg) thru my entire grow now for a few years and have refined it to a perfect formula. Gonna post it here some.....

YES you have to run cal mag at all times.
I run no nutes except cal-mag for the last 3 weeks. I drop calmag on last week. They will not yellow for about 2 weeks as the medium has plenty of food to feed them for a bit..... but if it's not yellow by last week just run twice as much water as you do a couple times. Will yellow quick.
There is a reason for every move I make in the grow process. Like.... I cut last 3 weeks food so plants eat what's left and I don't flush.Cal mag gets left in first 2 weeks of the last 3 weeks of flower ,so that plant can still use the food in your soil. U drop calmag and it locks up the nutrients in your soil. Making it then necessary to flush as plants can't eat it fast enough with this happening in last 3 weeks. Cal mag will go deficient in less than a week on my schedule so that's gone at harvest too.

Any other questions? Ask away.

First off AN is expensive water pretty much, competitors at half the price is just as good, it's a few trace elements in the bottle. Flushing is a myth, feed at a weaker strength later in flower. GL.
If you are smoking the flower you should consider cannabis specific nutrients!

Use sensi bloom all the way through flower, reducing the strength in late flower. Add nothing to the bloom nutes other than big bud early flower and overdrive in the last 2-3 weeks of flower if you want to use the AN line. 8)

cal/mag is a must throughout flowering. Add rhino skin also if you want to spend the $

I guess pending on your nutes but calmag has too much N so I normally quit giving at week 4.Your leaves will tell ya.If their shinny dark green they dont need it.

Not saying competitors products aren’t as good or better,
But If I used only water in coco, I’m sure they would look a lot worse than this lol.

Flushing isn't a myth it cleans out your plant. Produces a cleaner more tasteful smoke that burns with a nice white ash. Dont flush and you will have weed that burns like shit with a black ash and a harshness to it. Believe it or not.

It’s the chlorophyll that’s gives that shit taste.
Yes starving the plant will use up the stored chlorophyll.
But a long dry and cure will use up the chlorophyll also.
Why Starve the plant when it needs the nutrients for the most crucial part of its life!?
It’s all how you dry and cure my friend

How do you figure that. I never said anything about what ppm I run or how often or if I have a proper wet/dry cycle. Not a very informed statement. Listen. Everyone does what they think is best. I like my smoke smooth and tasteful. I get those results the way I do things. I have never given my plants the full dosages by recommendation. Nor should you. Most will be waaay to hot. There’s enough thread in this forum about flushing. If you want go to one of those threads. Here’s day 62 flower you tell me I’m doing things wrong??

vile,
Nute threads always get interesting...lots of strong opinions. But what you need is a no bullshit AN grower and I know the guy.

@OldMedUser Hey dude...

Depends on his mood...he may pop in. lol

Mood = grumpy this am. ;)

Flushing only removes excess nutes from the soil/media and if the plants have been overfed during the grow it does absolutely nothing to remove excess salts from the plant tissues. I see a lot more examples of toxic salts buildup, (TSB), than I do of starving plants in these and other forums. Then you get all the 'pros' saying '"pour more CalMag on!" like CalMag is a magic bullet and fixes everything.

It's the long slo-dry curing method that gets you smooth smoking buds. That and not overfeeding all the time.

Debating which nutes to use and whether to flush or not is like flogging a dead horse. Done with that.

:peace:
