Help needed with 2 week old seedling

I have a 2 week old seedling in a very small rockwool cube surrounded by clay pebbles,

it's set up in a fogponic system the roots are dangling pretty low and the plant doesn't seem like it will hold up well in its more adult life, ive ordered some 4 inch rockwool cubes to put the seedling into to stabilise it better but won't be here until week 3

I wanted to know if I put the seedling and all the balled up roots into the new bigger rockwool will they be able to break through it or will they suffocate?

That sounds like its doing what its supposed to do and looking for water.
but let me get the picture in my head right.. You have a netpot in a bucket or box that has a fogger in it. The netpot is full of hydroton with a rockwool cube in the middle of it. The roots have grown out of the bottom of the pot and are just hanging in the fog. If I have described this correctly, thats exactly what it is supposed to do and if your plants are showing an issue, you have something else wrong.

Doing what youve described, sounds very counter-productive.
Hang out and browse the forum a bit and make some posts to get your post count up so itll let you post pictures.

Atm the roots are touching the water I can't lower the water anymore and was told if I let the roots touch the water it'll just be a dwc system whichll need airstones etc I can't stop this from happening forever but would like to prevent it for awhile I'd like to know if I put the plant and all the roots into a bigger rockwool cube will it break through or will all the roots get tangled n possibly die? They're also showing signs of slight edge burning n browning on the tip of first node leaves and slight curling upwards with irregular new growth I have raised lighting and added some canna calmag n a little dash of black magic pH is running at 5.7
Thanks for your quick reply

The reason for airstones in a dwc is to get oxygen into the water for the roots. Youre getting plenty of oxygen in your fog which essentially rains back into the water below so it should still be getting oxygen into the water. I run rdwc and am only familiar with the basics of fogponics, but I dont see why this would be an issue. I let my roots grow down into the water in my aerocloner and they are fine.
The roots would probably get through fine, but you are going to slow down its growth doing something like that.

If they're in the water now.........wait a month.........not a big deal just make sure the plant is happy.
