Which fan should I buy?

I'm running these and they move some serious air and I think the price is great compared to the quality.

Thanks for the recommendation. Honeywell makes good stuff. I have 2 of their cheaper table top fans that I removed the base from and hung from the ceiling of my flower room blowing air on the glass of my air cooled hoods. I think their products are very under rated and affordable.

Did you take the base off the oscillating style and figure a better method of hanging it? MIne is hung from the roof upside down in my tent moving the air over the canopy but i'm not really that happy with hanging it from the base with yo yos. The non oscillating one I have is on the floor pushing air into the tent, even on low it has enough force to create a flow of air out of the upper side vent. I'm running the lite line tent from Growilla which is 24 X 30 x 78 its kind of funky size wise but it really easy to control the temp and humidity levels with the fans while not consuming much power..

It's a standard box style fan. I would have to get very crafty if it were oscillating.

I recently bought a 16" wall mount fan that I wanted plugged into my timer outlet to only operate when the lights are on but that doesn't work. When the power is cut to the fan you have to manually push the power button to get it to turn on. I have a 12" oscillating fan going 24/7 but wanted extra air movement across the canopy when the 600w light is on. Now I'm going to have to void my warranty by going into the controls and jumping the power switch so it's always on and should work off my timer. Should of known it was going to be trouble when I saw it came with a remote control. lol

I made that mistake a while back too! Give me a draw string or turn switch any day.

Yeah. All the other fans have manual buttons that stay in their position so the fan goes on and off with the timer. I figured this one would be the same. Even went and bought a 10' cord to reach from the timer to the fan across the room. :(

I made sure the fan I bought has a digital panel, doubt I bother with a remote. It will get pretty dense in there. Can't mount a wall mount in my cellar without lots of wood and work. Walls are stone.

I went with the wall mount Hurricane Pro 16 inch oscillating fan.

Hurricane Wall Mount Fan - 16 Inch | Pro Series | High Velocity | Heavy Duty Metal Wall Mount Fan for Industrial, Commercial, Residential, and Greenhouse Use - ETL Listed, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06W5N8BQ7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_HEWlEbCBWXYCZ

Now that's a fan worth getting. Cost twice as much as the POS plastic one I got but would probably last 10X as long and work fine off the timer. I don't mind paying premium prices for quality goods. That's why I'll never buy legal pot. :)

Carbide masonry drill bit and a couple of concrete screws and you're good to go. I wanted a wall mount to get it up and out of the way. I used to screw a fan upside down on the ceiling but the oscillating mechanism on those cheap fans doesn't like that and they fall apart after a while or jam up.

I always have extra space around my plants so don't have to worry about shredding branches. :)

The gorilla tents have gear panels that affix for mounting fans and such. I’m using that....hope it friggin works or I’ll be drilling holes into my tent and wall.

I have days I can barely bend, lol......many spine/disc/degenerative things happening. Constructing a tent, lifting 20 lbs is about my limit. You wouldn't think that if you saw me. Looks can be deceiving.

A guy could mount a 1x4 or two across the uprights to mount a fan and/or other gear onto as well if they don't have one of those. I'm in a room with many options to bolt stuff all over the place. The ceiling looks like swiss cheese from all the hooks I've screwed into it the last 20 years to hang lights etc. My house, my rulez! lol

My prior indoor grows came out dispensary quality or better, but Ive never been happy with clip fans or tornado types that sit low on the floor. I'm hoping this recent buy will improve air circulation as I have more plants this grow. And Cuomo promises rec legal once again, I'm hoping but doubtful.

I broke my back crashing my Bonney chopper in '83 but luckily only get severe back pain when doing something like washing dishes where I'm slightly bent over for a while. Mainly it's arthritis that bothers me the most now but CBD cocobudder really helps with that. Trimming is a hated chore as my hands will cramp up really bad after an hour or two.

You must be down in the states somewhere then. Cuomo sounds familiar but can't quite place the name.

Cuomo = New York State

Glad I read this thread...I had just ordered 2 - 16" wall mount fans with remotes thinking that would be handy....but I see they won't come on with the timers, so i just cancelled. I think I'll play it smart and order 1 of the Hurricane Pro 16 inch and see how I like it...Currently running 2 hanging box fans and 2 -16 " floor oscillating fans, but they take up too much floor space. 5 hps lights = a heatwave!

Love my hurricane super 8. In my setup I rarely oscillate it though. Kind of a waste of the functionality, but it does seem to be a quality unit 3+ months so far.

Thank you. To my surprise, on some of the brands you can't turn the oscillating function off....and sometimes you don't need / want it.

I'm really liking these...prices are great. I think I am gonna pull the trigger on a few of these. Thanks for the recommendation!!
