Under the leadership of Tom Perez, this is the list;
So there has never been a third party president, ever?Sanders doesn't run as an Independent for president because it's impossible for an Independent to win
2/45So there has never been a third party president, ever?
Protip: It's happened at least twice.
I thought Bernie was the most popular politician ever according to some poll you posted...
No. You clearly don't understand politics. If Sanders is as popular as you say, running as an independent would almost certainly give him the EC, just like it did for Lincoln and Roosevelt. Conversely, running in the DNC has completely blocked him from getting anywhere because most democrats don't support him. All it has achieved was to fracture the party and give the government to the GOP.You want Sanders to run Independent because you don't want him to win
When have I ever said Sanders was popular enough to win the EC running as an Independent?If Sanders is as popular as you say, running as an independent would almost certainly give him the EC
So he won the 2016 primary against Clinton?Sanders is the most popular politician in the country based on evidence
Yeah, because your political acumen is amazing. Tell us again how much Nancy owes all those Republicans who voted for her.You do that and shill it to someone else, that's the end of the Democratic party as you know it, and you guarantee a Trump reelection
You can tell that the list is racist too, because it has no Nina Turner's on it.They're appointing corporate, Democratic establishment shills who happen to be Democrats. The only argument you can foster against Sanders is that he doesn't campaign as a Democrat, even though he caucuses with them, because the Democratic party is a center right party, and he's an actual progressive. He's the most popular politician in the country for a reason, while the rest of congress, except for AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and the other actual progressives within the party, while blue dogs and third way coalitions are fading into obscurity.
They can't win if the terms are fair, they know it, you know it
If the moderate centrism you support were so popular, the neoliberals wouldn't need to stack the deck against progressives, even if the alternative is fascism under Donald TrumpYou can tell that the list is racist too, because it has no Nina Turner's on it.
Stop your fucking whining. If Bernie is the so popular, he will have no problem securing the nomination.
Maybe the DNC is just not a fan of another Russian pushed candidate that will lose them the House and Senate to the Russian funded Republicans in 2020?Why doesn't DNC leadership publicly say they oppose Sanders because he's an Independent instead of pretending like they will support the person who wins the majority of the votes in the Democratic primary? Why does the DNC continue to pretend like they support all the candidates equally when the leadership appoints nothing but establishment and Clinton surrogates to the panel incase Sanders wins a plurality?
They're there to ensure he doesn't win the nomination at all costs. If he garners a plurality and the DNC gives it to Biden anyway, Trump wins.
Sanders doesn't run as an Independent for president because it's impossible for an Independent to win
Take a second, is that really too difficult for you to understand? Nobody could run as an Independent in the political system we have and win, nobody.
You use the "he's not even a Democrat" bad faith argument because you know he's the most popular politician running, and him running as an Independent twists your panties because he doesn't kowtow to the corporate interests that have your prefered candidates by the balls.
I support the Democratic nominee, unlike you.If the moderate centrism you support were so popular, the neoliberals wouldn't need to stack the deck against progressives, even if the alternative is fascism under Donald Trump
