Seeing if anyone can tell what issue is going on. I have 2 1000w hortilux in a 5x10 tent. About half the plants are doing great, growing big buds. I'm in week 8 flower. However some of the plants seem deformed and growing small buds. This one I'm posting was the worst and I took it out and chopped down. I don't know if it had nute deficiency or something, interesting how getting the same water and nutes hand watered and some are thriving others not.

I may very well be wrong as I've never seen it in person. But after many years of trawling these forums and by what you're saying with others being fine, I'd take a guess at russet mite damage, google 'russet mite damage in cannabis' and you'll see a lot of the plants look similar to yours

Hahaha very sorry to be the bad news bear. If it is russet mites, you won't eb able to put anything else into the room until your crop is finished. Then you'll need to disinfect everything. Including lights, fans and literally everything in the room.
Try and see this crop out though, you did well to remove that plant.

Mostly black sugar, then some purple kush and white widow.
Its crazy how hard it is to grow healthy great bud ha.. so many things can go wrong even when create perfect environment. everything was brand new, in new grow tent, new seeds, temp was 70 lights on 60 lights off entire grow never changed. humidity around 65% entire grow. most look great still, i removed another 2 that seem infected. i dont have a microscope so i dont know. Im going to flush the plants another 3-4 days and cut them all down. If anything ill make lots of edibles , people eat insects all over the world just a little protein right ? lol. hopefully they dont live on like devils and grow eggs inside me

Haha it can be tough but don't be hard on yourself. One mite gets in and it can just keep breeding. They can even come in through vents so just something we have to look out for.

Nah, you migtt just notice the odd pop if you smoke it.
Honestly I'd try treating them at least once. Also try and bring that humidity down. You want it no higher than fifty percent in flower and lower than forty percent inate flower. This could be part of the issue

each plant will be different even if it came from a mother plant they all have their own needs. Its your job to try and balance out those needs so they are all happy.
And dont go spraying shit to try to kill russet mites because somebody says you might have mites out of the blue without confirming you have mites .
I doubt you have mites.

Doesn't look it to my eye but symptoms can be similar, if all the plants of a particular strain were acting like this then probably nutes/pH but with different strains affected, I'd guess mites.

It was in the middle close to light but still all buds on bottom dead or not growing or deformed , looks very much like symptoms I'm seeing for russet mites. I'm not going to spray. I'm going to flush them with water phed for 3-4 days and cut em all down. They were only gonna go another 7 days anyway. I will smoke all the good clean bud and make edibles out of rest. There's no way eating some mites after being cooked could be bad for you. I've been in Asia watching people eating all kinds of nasty insects and grubs
