Hey guys I started my girl out in soil and I want to move her to coco. Would it be best to rinse the soil from her roots before moving her to the coco. She is 20 days old
I'm waiting on seeds and was going to run all them in coco. I can continue with her in soil I thought all in the same medium would be easier. I'm planning to run an auto feeder with the coco. Thanks for the comment much appreciated.
You can normally just break the rootball up gently with your hands as long as it hasn't got too rootbound. I'd definitely shake out as much as the soil as you can cause the more that's left the longer it's gonna take to transition properly in the coco. The soil will stay wet much longer than the coco so the center of your pot will stay wet until it establishes a big root system in the coco.
I always start in soil and then transplant into coco. Saves fucking about trying to set the ph and ec in such small amounts of feed. Never have any problems, don't disturb the root ball just stick it in the coco.
