Northern lights auto

I’ve grown northern lights auto a couple of times, I didn’t document exactly how long it took for complete cycle but it matures fairly fast towards the last few weeks of flower and yields pretty good too. Quality is nice.
P.s don’t go off breeders times. 9/10 times you’ll be disappointed!

I've heard northern lights yields pretty decent. I'm just waiting for the bud to swell, is that normally last few weeks of flower? She started flowering at 3 weeks old and I've seen posts that say add 8-9 weeks on to how long it took to show pistils.

Yea that time frame sounds close.
Buds should start swelling in the next week to two weeks I’d say. If you have a lot of white pistols sticking straight out then buds should still grow more before they swell!

I had 5 outdoors in coco (only receiving about 12 hours of light) and they were pretty consistent some getting to just under a metre tall. Average yield was just under 3 ozs a plant.
just grew out a freebie, purple gorilla auto.
What awesome quality for an auto. Yield was pretty good and had a very nice but low odour when growing. If you like growing this northern lights then I recommend giving purple gorilla a go!!

It has white pistils so I'm still expecting the bud to carry on growing they are sticking straight out. This is my first auto indoors and she's currently standing at 31inches so I'm happy with the growth. I just want the most out of this grow as my previous grows came into a few problems which affected the overall quality. Luckily not ran into any problems with northern lights. I'm also growing respect 4 gorilla in DWC.

Yea nice. It’s amazing how good a bucket change out can be!

That's true I noticed the difference within a day or so. The changes was fast. Although I have to admit I was expecting the growth to be a lot more vigorous than it has been. She's easy to manage the way she's is now to be honest. It's been 5 days since I switched the lights to 12/12 I'm just waiting for her to do her magic lol :bigjoint:

That’s the thing with dwc. Things happen fast.
The strength of dwc is fast veg time. If your not seeing growth everyday then something’s wrong. Usually environment, lights need to be fairly powerful too.

I see new growth every day. I have 600w HPS Co2 bag and a heater for when the weather drops. Lights are on during night hours and off during day hours. I'm using advanced nutrients.
