If that’s the case , I should stop giving my plant nutrients, let them grow on it’s own
That's pretty much what I do. I rarely feed them salty nutes. I'm still trying to wein them from water and light. That might take longer.

(no, I don't put nutes in my water. I use a super soil like mix).

Interesting,

ya I kind of half ass grow, I fully never researched how to grow I kind of watched a YouTube video here and there and do my own thing, when it comes to nutes I strictly use Alaska Fish Shit from Home Depot, I use it from start to finish , it’s what I had in the garage , and it’s not like it doesn’t work, I like it

That stuff works great, but stinks like mad.

Thing is there’s 2 different types of people here.. people that repeat what they hear, then other people that give advise based on their real world experience.. only reason I know you can supercrop no matter what is because I’ve had the same problem as you more than once.. I’ve had plants stretch so much that I’ve topped them 2 weeks into bloom and I still had a good yield..
Exactly and you can usually tell who is who by their willingness to post pictures of their plants, by their longevity on site and their likes to post ratio.

Don’t supercrop? What kind of retards do we have in here giving advise?? I I’ve topped 2 weeks into flower before lol. You can supercrop no matter how far along you are, that plant recovers very quickly.
New growers should be using the least stressful methods, period. Its great most ppl supercrop, it maxes yield. But until they learn the basics of indoor growing I don't advise it. And I don't give a fuck what anybody else thinks. That's my ADVICE, it's not advise (this is a verb, not a noun).

I can see your point here. If you don't know the technique you can snap a stem pretty easily. But in this case, given the length of that branch and the weight up top, you can do that even using lst.

Best to learn the proper technique. So when someone says to supercrop, look it up and see how to do it. Even if you snap a branch, it isn't a death sentence as long as you aren't holding a piece in your hand separate from the main. Just brace it a little and it will heal.

It wasn't bad advice. Neither is supercropping.

I simply disagree but like greg nr said I understand your point. LSTing with fishing line was a potential problem.

I suggested LST. And got called a retard in the process, lol. By a person incapable of composing a sentence with proper grammar to boot.
:P
The grow forums can be touchy because people are passionate about their hobby. This can lead to pejoratives toward anyone with a differing opinion. I'd suggest just ignoring them and doing your thing. Polite disagreement is the basis of forward progress in most endeavors and ignoring the less than politic is usually a prudent course of action LOL

I supercrop whenever I need to even well into flower. I've been doing it for years. From my experience the plant does just fine. In fact I've literally had to bend stalks that were so hard that they literally split. Plant didn't miss a beat and kept right on flowering. Crunch the stem, bend it over, and move on. Cannabis isn't the fragile plant that requires special attention as some seem to think. I beat the crap out of my plants when I need to. They take it just fine.
