Tuve una gran refutación, Honk ....... pero era demasiado malos para el consumo público. HAHAHAHAHA

The connies dried hung for 5 days (dry on the outside) and they have been jarred now for 3 days. No sampling has been done. They were flowered early due to space/time constraints, and the 3 plants filled a qt jar 3/4 full.They were tiny plants.

I just looked at the trichomes on my plant through a magnifying glass. Right now they all look milky or clear. None of them look amber at all. It's getting down into the 40s here at night and I'm wondering how much longer I can keep the plant outside. It's been two full months now that it's been flowering. How much longer do I need to wait before they start turning amber?

And yes, I would think that hanging a light inside a clear box would draw attention to the grow. That's why I was looking for some sort of opaque greenhouse plastic. I'm also unsure of what kind of light I need. Can anyone give recommendations?

I can tell you what we do with our greenhouse. We get duel walled polycarbonate and put a whitewash on the outside (which makes it opaque) to shade the plants. The dual wall makes it somewhat insulated with the inner space between walls. You could do the same with plexiglass to make it opaque too.

As far as a light, you are limited by space and strech of the plants. If the enclosure is 3 -4 feet high, you dont have much room for a light and plants. If the pot is 6" and the plant is LSTed to another foot (total height 1.5 feet), that leaves 1.5 to 2.5 feet to the light. I dont think you could do a high wattage HPS but a 250-400 HPS or some CFLs would work. You would have to be mindful that the plants are trained so they dont touch or get too close to the light(s). HPS would also supply some heat for them too. But I think in the dead of winter in NY it would require supplemental heat to keep it above freezing especially when the lights were off.

On the trichs, they should be some ambers on the way soon. Usually they start showing up after the cloudy ones appear so keep checking. Watch the color of the pistils too as they will trun brown as the plant finishes. Your gettin close LB

Brought her inside tonight to take a few pics. Check out how colorful and awesome she is! Trichomes still look milky white, leaves are a bright yellow with purple stems and veins. What do you think? It's 47 degrees outside right now, I felt so bad putting her back out...

I don't know how cool your nights have been getting, we were getting close to freezing about two weeks ago. I think I mentioned how deep purple my Papaya has gotten, but now, over the past few days the red-pistiled Conquistador's pistils don't seem to have that blush to them. But! That one and another are purpling up just a bit. I think they're behind all my other girls, just a wee bit.

Look at the gorgeousness of my plants! The Connie has been getting apple juice and I think she likes it. She continues to have a faint citrus smell, but isn't smelly overall. You have to get right up to her to get the scent.

The ones in the cab continue to amaze me. The two plants in each strain are like identical twins. The Jillybeans are so exactly alike it's scary. Sub knows what he's doing!!

Oh, lovely, lb. As she matures, you'll notice the scent becoming headier and headier, very rich and deep. To me it's a definite cantaloupe aura, but slightly rotten. Each Conquistador has a slightly different scent, too.

Oh! I forgot to put in a quickie smoke report on her! I sampled some bud from #13, quick-dried in the microwave as I had begun womanating and as the ladies know, the first 2-3 days are the toughest for the cramping. I had smoked up the last of my 1/2 the day before, so I figured, alright, she's fat enough, let's try it.

Tasty smoke, though not as fruity as I'd thought it might be. With a proper drying (a small sample cola took three days in my closet to dry) it will definitely smoke with a better taste. Smooth. And God damn if it didn't significantly help alleviate my cramps. Nice.

Seamaiden - How are you going to cure the big ones or the rest of the crop? Are you going to quick dry it or jar dry it? I have a coworker who swears by a little smoke to relieve lady pain. Here's to natural forms of relief

Nope, she's really that yellow! I don't know why. But she looks healthy and lovely so I'm not too worried.

Apparently (as I suspected), just being in the mountains will mean a quick dry. I think 3 days without any significant air movement is pretty quick, based on my reading. Initially I was going to do the drying under the house, but now I'm not so sure. I do have a buttload of Mason jars (we were thinking of doing some pickling a couple of years ago, bought a case or two on impulse... the impulse Mason jar buy!), so yes, I'll be doing a basic cure. I have no desire (and little patience at this point) for anything fancier.

Yes, mine are doing the same thing. Only two of the three are really getting those autumn colors, and none of them is anything like the Papaya (the Papaya's really gorgeous, stands out the way red plums stand out against green foliage). And the Papaya is SO purple that the leaves don't quite "yellow" out, not the way green leaves do. Pritty kewl.

Okay, whew, I was scared that something was wrong with my plant! She's been getting nothing but water with apple juice for several weeks now, and then for the past two days it's been raining, so i figure the soil is getting a good flush. The only fertilizer I gave her once she started flowering was Rainbow Mix Bloom at the very beginning. My sweet potato vines are turning the same yellow, so I figured it was just the climate and not any lack of nutrients or anything.

I love watching her get all psychedelic! Someday I want to grow a plant that turns almost black, like Pandora's Box.

Mine aren't quite as yellow as yours, but I've also been topdressing them up until... gosh, about a month ago, maybe a little more. I have still been having issues with leaf tips browning and drying up, I finally decided fuckit, I'm not growing for foliage. I use molasses, as I haven't been able to determine what apple juice does, exactly.
