Hi all,

This will be my first go at a grow, and I have been following the instructions thus far from other member's questions and answers.
I am enjoying the journey so far, but would like to post my setup in hopes that the community could give me pointers before they arise.

Setup:
3x3x6 tent
2 600w Vipraspectra reflector series lights
4- 3 gallon pots
4plants total20200214_170352.jpg
2- feminized blueberry ILGM
2- feminized Harleyquin ILGM
Fox farm ocean forest soil
Spout date-feb 5 2020
Avg temp Lights on- 79 off- 75
water every 2 days or so and wait until dry

This is all pretty new and I am learning as I go but,

What is a realistic estimation of harvest?

When should I switch to flower, so space wont be an issue?

When should I start with nutrients? (fox farm trio)

Its winter here and when I switch to 12/12 can I have an extended dark time to match my schedule? so I can tend to my lil homies

I appreciate any feedback, even wtf are you doing- do this...comments just trying to learn :)

Anyways looking good, I predict a decent yield if all goes well and you keep up the research.

All the best to you and your girls!

Just keep doing what ya f-n doin... You have a good set up already. I like ya just watered a couple inches around the babies to start. I have used the FF trio with ok results. I have been getting way better results since I went all organics, Taste N Flavor.. learn the last two week swell and never ask if it done yet. Because only you will know. Don't over think the shit.. Sorry I just got done watching a Trailer Park Boys marathon, and kinda fucked. But Anyhow just apply the fuckin K.I.S.S method of growing. :bigjoint: :peace:

quick answers...

up to a pound, but probably 4-6 oz's

switch to flower at 4-6 weeks, but realize they could double in height. Training is key; you want a canopy with multiple tops. Spend a week or two on youtube.. ;)

When nutes depends on your soil. Now is ok to start silica ad cal-mag, maybe kelp. Aim for no more than 200 ppm. Don't feed every watering. Watch the leaves for clues.

You can set any 12 hour schedule that works for your life. The plants won't care.

Oh, and raise those lights as high as they will go and leave them there.

Almost everything he mentioned is good info but definitely don't raise your lights as high as they go. 24" at that stage is a good starting distance.

You can set any 12 hour schedule that works for your life.
Sometimes it makes sense to schedule your 12/12 cycle so that you've got lights-on during the power company's low-demand time frame (generally and typically between the hours of 7PM - 7AM or so) as the cost is often cheaper per kW hour than it is between 7AM and 7PM.

That time frame incidentally is generally around the same time that the ambient air is cooler. Night time is cooler than daytime hours, so if heat is a problem, running lights on at night may be of benefit.

I run my flower tents from 8PM to 8AM. I'm an early riser, so that gives me 2-2.5 hours in the morning to work in the flower tents if needed, and a couple hours after dinner as well (I water just as the lights come on).

That's interesting, i wouldmt have thought evenings would be low demand.

I currently am 18-6 and my lights shut off at 9am and turn on at 3pm. I wanted to do a noon to midnight on, but i am now wanting to do 8pm to 8am.. do i have this much choice in the matter or am i locked to a time frame with my original veg schedule i set?
