4000 is not too much for a 4x4?

I don’t think so. You could get one hell of a sea of green with it. You could get the sf 2000 but you’ll probably want the sf 4000 after a while.

OP: one of cheapest ways to get a legit killer light is almost finished diy thru horticulture lighting group/hlg:
They sell their v1 board, last years hotness but definitely better than BestVa, with heatsink for 49$. 4 of those and a 120$ driver, a couple of wagos and cabling and you have a great light that would sell for close 1000 a couple of years ago. Its really easy to put together.
