What’s up guys? In my absence I’ve been a little busy. Acquired a new light from work, new freebie that a wind storm blew down. I have a new problem, any help will be reciprocated in electrical/automation help. Scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours. I need ventilation help. I can come up with a dozen ways that might work, or we could all sit around and watch a monkey fuck a football. I need to know what works. Will an in-line 4”-6” fan with carbon filter clean air/circulate the same air? View picks

It's not a big space, so a 4" should handle it just fine. AC Infinity has been a big hit lately, so maybe check into their lineup.

What’s up guys? I apologize for any ignored or delayed responses. Seems like here lately I haven’t had a minute to myself. The light meters out at 125 watts. Claims to be 150, so given today’s manufacturer standards of over quoting the wattage, it’s not too bad. Bulky and heavy though. Thanks for the advice on the fan/ventilation question. What about an in-line/duct boosting fan? Their less expensive than the fancier counterpart. Around seventy five percent less expensive. Yes, cfm is sacrificed by a margin, but I’m all about coming up with a better way to do something for less money. This is where I over engineer the hell out of something.

I still haven’t flowered anything. I want to play around and learn what works and doesn’t before I go and pop my proverbial cherry. Here are some pics. And guys, I love constructive criticism, but before you comment, remember this is my first time, so take it easy on this newb. I have been keeping a log of what/when/how I do things and I’ve been tinkering with a few of the parameters, but one thing really stands out and that’s keeping a flat canopy. Any help is greatly appreciated. And please, if I can help you guys, I would love to, y’all have been more than helpful to me. I feel like I owe you one.

On the larger one, I’ve cut it back some, do I continue to cut the taller branches back until all have caught up? What’s the max veg time? The light I naught meters out at 402 watts, I’m running it at twenty five percent on the veg channel only, getting one and a half inches a day. (That’s what my wife says).

hello again. Different subject, I know it should be a different post, but you guys have been extremely helpful, so hope you don’t mind. I’ve learned a lot on my first grow so far. Learned what I’ll do different. What about bloom boosters in soil?

New grower here. I do industrial/commercial electrical work, went to school for four years to be an electrician, so I understand the light spectrum, par, umol, etc. I get slot of new led fixtures through work for free. Ex: a concrete truck backed into a pole light with two 416 watt LEDs on top. Lights got scratched up, no big deal, customer wanted new ones. Cool, I took one fixture, buddy took the other. $3k apiece, for free. I know these aren’t grow lights, and in the back of my mind I have my doubts, but I’m hoping/wishing these will work. I guess what I’m looking for is for someone to tell me they will. The fixture breaks down into four arrays, with a driver for each. I metered them out at the wall, they’re pulling what they quote. I have one array with driver 12” above plant and seems to be working for veg, but also maybe too close/intense. Right under ten thousand lumen, 5000 kelvin, also four 9 watt feit’s in clamp on fixtures at four corners, 15-18” away. Plant has grown substantially with in veg, 2gal smart pot, ocean forest medium. GH nutes I got with purchase of powergrower. I’m trying but every move I make is nothing more than an educated guess. Plant is starting to exhibit some crinkling, yellowing in center of new growth above sixth node. Purple haze. I’m aware of ph issue, I water with nothing but Fiji water. Jk, I’m a fucking electrician, I can only afford ozarka. Any advice on the lights will be greatly appreciated, I’m considering buying an inexpensive Cree led on amazon or similar. I know the quality that comes out of China. I don’t like it. Actually, any advice will be honored. Thanks guys.

You should start by just running 2 drivers with 2 arrays each in parallel. Then see if you can use the remaining 2 drivers and buy some much more red led to balance out the spectrum for flowering
