What is the point of blue LED's at 450nm anyway? I really don't understand the logic behind it. All you are doing is raising the colour temperature by using them. You may as well use use a higher colour temperature the efficiency will be about the same.

Reds are added to try and stretch that hump at the red side of the electromagnetic spectrum over a ways further.
Basically just keeping the hump up high for a little more In to the 800's. Right?

Not sure what you are talking about, I am referring to blues not reds

I know that. I clearly stated I was talking about using RED diodes and why its useful. It basically helps to make the red drop off hump, on a spectrum chart, a bit wider and reach over a little further towards the higher # nm before dropping off.
Is that right?

Why don't you just bite the bullet and buy a set of HLG QB132's/120's and a 240-36 driver and build a frame and have yourself a VERY respectable light?
No fans, no heavy box fixture, less than half the heat, and will do such a better job..less than $200.

I own one, but the older lm561c model. Just got had the best harvest I’ve ever had In my 5x5 tent, so mammoth has got my vote! They have even better customer service. & migro Just reviewed the lm301b 10bar model and liked the light and he’s always given every company a fair shake in his reviews, unbiased & tells you if by the #s its a good led grow light or not. Idk how you go around bashing companies & their lights if you’ve even Tried running once. You might be surprised. All I know is no Chinese company has the warranty or customer service to match mammoth, & those things are just an added bonus to the kick ass fixture at a killer price point they offer us growers.

That Teknik guy probably lives in his moms basement and just dreams of being someone that knows what he is talking about
He doesnt even grow by the sounds of it so he would know nothing at all about lights. Need to speak to real growers like Hybridway to learn anything about lighting as he probably knows how good you lights are in terms of gardening efficiency not all those numbers the "smart people" keep using
I have watched some of the migro videos too, that guy knows his stuff and has some awesome equipment even one that shows the spectrum of a light on his phone, growers like Hybridway and migrow are the only people worth listening to regarding lights. That migrow must have some sort of farm with all the fancy equipment he has
The real shame is that the Teknik guys comments were not deleted and someone might not buy that light as its obviously fantastic as you got a good crop and migro said it was good too

Seems like he just bashes companies he knows nothing about if you read the posts here. He probably fooled you into thinking he knew what he was talking about but he is obviously no hybridway when it comes to knowing anything about lighting.
