Bernie Sanders 2020

Once Bernie starts gobbling up all the states and starts wining I can see Bloomberg getting a little panicky and buying Bernie out. He will give Bernie a shit load of money and Bernie will tell his followers that it has all been too hard on him and his family, that he thought he could go the distance but age has just caught up with him and he will have to drop out, doctors predicting only months to live. He will be very apologetic to his voters and fans and will really let them know how hard he tried. he will walk away quietly and loaded with cash.
That’s when we will have the serious heavy weight fight between trump and doomberg.

You will learn to love Bernie if he gets the nomination! Bernie is rich enough for Bernie and the right side of the democratic party is getting a might nervous and are hoping Daddy War bucks will swoop in to save them from the communist menace. Socialism works great, trust me I'm Canadian!:D

That's nonsense. Totally different economy and expenditures and revenue. You're comparing apples and oranges.

For one thing, he's never accomplished anything, in 30 years in politics except for fracturing the DNC, handing the entire gov't to the GOP in 2016. His faction had very little part in winning back the house in 2018 and there is no reason to think he'd have much if any support in the legislature for a sweeping economic agenda that includes adding on average 3.4 trillion a year in spending when the entire federal revenue is less than that.

It's about 5 times the military budget. It has to be done in increments to bring cost down. First step is to get everyone covered. If he succeeds in getting taxes raised, people won't wait for his next imminent heart attack. They'll fucking kill him. Don't forget it's Merika.

I think the democratic nominee should announce his AG pick before the election, someone with integrity that real conservatives and the legal community can back and endorse, someone to restore integrity to the DOJ and bust Trumps ass. Someone who will scare the living shit out of Donald when he makes speeches on the campaign trail for the future president!

If Warren doesn't drop soon after Super Tuesday, Sanders will likely have to run with Gabbard.

Any AG can follow the president's orders.

Just having a bit of fun with Amber, single payer works in most other modern countries, not just Canada, America is very much the exception to the rule. If you have a plan with your employer you will either be paid more and or have a package that provides services beyond that which the government would.

Bernie would go over like a turd in the punch bowl for many Americans and any eventual healthcare plan would be tempered by congress. Bernie might be an old fudd, but he's not a dictator, the democrats don't work like that and he will have a helluva ride from his own caucus in congress. If Trump and Barr keep this shit up the election will be a fucking fiasco and they will investigate Bernie to death, or Bloomberg for that matter. Bloomberg did say he would get in line and stay on board running ads against trump until election day if he doesn't get the nomination. Trump is a real and present danger and has to go, Bernie is a mere annoyance in comparison and will largely rule with a consensus of the congressional caucus. He needs a good running mate and not Tulsi! Maybe Liz or Ami would round out his ticket, Ami might go over better and be better for PR. Whoever gets the nomination should announce their AG pick before the election though, someone good and solid who the legal community will back.

Not all will, there are limits for those with integrity and who believe in the constitution, there are plenty to choose from too, the entire legal community is up in arms and the DOJ alumni is not impressed with Trump & Barr to say the least. Barr is an outlier and was chosen for his particular "talent", unfortunately for him he found himself in the noose or loop too along with the other clowns. Trump corrupts all he seduces, to be near him is to get shit on oneself, the wise can smell the corruption a mile away and stay clear. Bill like Rudy wanted to be in the limelight of fame and power, at any cost it would seem.

I will learn to love Bernie once he gets sailing on his way to incognito island. Pedo island would be fantastic for him since it’s been vacated now. He could use the ambiance and inspiration and smell the furniture to inspire his true calling at heart, writing... writing soft porn . That final masterpiece awaits.
Bon Voyage!

He's probably going to die soon. He's unelectable. That's why the delegates are going to other candidates.

Hope these bernouts still vote against Trump in the General though.

Sanders surges into national lead in new Post-ABC poll

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), on the strength of his performances in Iowa and New Hampshire, has surged nationally and now holds a sizable lead over all of his rivals for the Democratic presidential nomination, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll.
Former vice president Joe Biden, who led Sanders in a Post-ABC national poll in January, has seen a sharp drop in his support after finishing fourth in the Iowa caucuses and fifth in the New Hampshire primary. Biden is now in a battle for second place with former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).

Former South Bend, Ind., mayor Pete Buttigieg, who won the state-delegate-count battle in the Iowa caucuses and came a close second to Sanders in New Hampshire, is in single digits nationally, roughly even with Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), whose surprise third-place finish in New Hampshire further scrambled the Democratic contest.

The poll underscores how quickly support for candidates can change in national polls on the strength of results from individual primaries and caucuses. The findings come on the day of a Democratic debate in Las Vegas that will include Bloomberg on the stage for the first time and represents a high-stakes gamble for all the candidates.

The poll also comes just days ahead of the third contest on the calendar, Saturday’s Nevada caucuses, with the South Carolina primary to follow on Feb. 29. After South Carolina, the campaign goes national, with 14 states holding contests on March 3, Super Tuesday, and crucial primaries in a variety of big states later in the month.

The Post-ABC poll shows Sanders, who got more votes in Iowa than any other candidate ahead of his narrow win in New Hampshire, with the support of 32 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning registered voters. That is an increase of nine percentage points since January. He holds double-digit leads among both women and men, as well as among those who say they are certain to vote in their state’s primary or caucuses.

Battle Ground states, Senate and House are all needed. I have not heard much about Bernie's plans to win the seats needed to get anything done, which is the most important thing.
