White hairs in veg

Should I flip the lights to 12/12 if white hairs start growing? I was going to try to stretch my plant in veg out until my other girls in my tent are done because I didn’t want any chances of a male pollinating my plants that are almost done, I am chopping those ones in three weeks.

now that I know my veg plant is female, I think that’s what that means, is it okay to add her in with my plants that are almost done?

What is almost done. You dont want her under 12 n 12 for long or she will start flowering.

My other two plants are almost done. Three more weeks will be 10 weeks in flower so I’m estimating around then the hairs will be done.

my vegging plant has been in veg for well over two months so I think that is why she is preflowering, I have just never felt with growing before my other two plants so I wasn’t sure if I should put her under the light to prevent her frombecoming hermie since she is already showing signs of preflower.

All you need to worry about is controlling their size if you're concerned about them getting to large before flipping/stretch. Pistal growth in veg just confirms female and that they're ready to explode in flower. Now would be a good time to prune or top them if they still have 3 weeks of 18/6.

Supercrop them if you want them lower/bushier. Otherwise top them or ignore it. It won't hurt and it isn't in true f;lower mode. Just presex gone wild.

You can keep a mother plant under 18/6 indefinitely. Your plant will be fine. The bigger you let it get in veg the bigger it will be in flower. As stated earlier, trim the tops back and increase yield.

The hairs just mean she is ready to flower whenever you want. No danger of anything bad happening, just a sign of maturity.

White hairs indicate sex, which indicates that its ready or very close to ready, to being sexually mature.

The plant can be 12/12 from seed to harvest, but the plant isnt able to actually begin flowering, until its sexually mature. So what your seeing are the visible signs of the plant saying its female, and sexually mature enough to be put into flower

Sorry all I got distracted with kiddos then I had some college work due so the lights are off now and I already put the plant in with the other plants, I also forgot to take pics (sorry), I think I’ll just put her under 12/12 lighting to get her started with flower. You have three maybe four clones that survived after clipping from my flowered plant which should ultimately result in “monster cropping” lol if I do this right! Three of them already look as though they are switching back to veg so we will see... I’m sure I’ll have some questions soon ☺ thanks all for the replies!! I’m no longer worried thanks to the reassurance ✌
