Bernie Sanders 2020

remember when Obama would never become POTUS. I do
I keep saying I don't think Bernie can beat Trump but I'll vote for him in the fall and HOPE I'm wrong.

I'm always confident but not always right.

I voted for Obama in the primary but not because I thought he could beat McCain (though that election was the Democratic candidate's to lose).

Has any other candidate actually came out, and outright said " We will legalize marijuana on a national level" ....?
Bernie did just that a few minutes ago in Texas.
Edit: looks like he's said it before. Hadn't actually witnessed it.
Pete Buttigieg and Kamala Harris both did. Harris co-authored Nadler's recent bill. Cory Booker also propsed a similar measure.

I thought we'd have to wait a bit for a decision out of Nevada, seems Bernie cleaned up there and they called it early...
Looks like the donkeys are braying, "Bernie".

Doesn't matter. Bernie has to beat Trump for him to even maybe possibly make good on that promise. I don't think he can beat Trump.

The remaining Dem candidates need to attack Sanders. He voted against the Brady Bill and supported the NRA for 27 years! All those children shot in public schools? Let Sanders take some blame for that.

The other candidates get caught up in the race. Getting a few compliments and the grandiose idea of becoming President. They lose sight that Sanders has gotten away with very few attacks.
To me, Sanders telling Warren that a woman can't be president should have ended his run. Didn't though. Bernie Bros care about as much about Sanders shitty history as Trumpers. That's what we are up against. It takes concerted effort for people who follow their values to stop authoritarian followers who simply do what their leader tells them to do.

The only poll that matters is an election poll.

Iowa and NH. 25%

Remember?

Why, so the DNC can cry when he takes votes away from their establishment candidate? If he had done as you suggest in 2016, you'd be here crying now that he lost Hillary the election.
No, he would probably be POTUS. I heard he was the most popular politician in history.

If Sanders is so great, then he'd have won in 2016. Instead he lost.
Remember 25% isn't bad when you have a dozen candidates to divide the vote up among.
75% of Democrats voted for somebody else, mostly more moderate candidates. Maybe from Vladivostok 25% of Democrats voting for Bernie sounds good. Given that most everybody else are less left leaning than Democrats and 75% of Democrats didn't vote for Bernie, his results thus far are not exactly a mandate showing Bernie can beat Trump.

Bernie has integrity and has been self consistent for decades, this election is not about ideology on either side, its a civil war by other means. I believe Bernie can tap into the strong desire for change present in the country and also inspire the confidence in older voters too, when he is compared to Trump. Sure trump will paint him as a communist, but nobody who is not a Trumper believes a word that comes out of his mouth, the media calls him a liar all the time. Bernie represents anti corruption better than anybody and Trump the opposite, he will also most likely be a one term president because of age, so a good running mate is essential. If America wants to go left Liz would be a good choice, but Wall St would shit it collective pinstriped pants. I think Bernie might do well in the south too, poor places like WV and cut into some of the Trump 2016 trump voters who actually wanted real change. Nancy wants to talk healthcare as the number one issue this time around, with Bernie running they will know they will get it, in one form or another, it's the number one issue for most voters..

"establishment candidate"
"the deep state"

all disinformation propaganda.....there's righteous and evil

The Evil is in power. There are more decent Democrats in this world now, then Republican. But make no mistake, Trump and his minions are evil. Romney is a decent man, and GOP.

He would have won though, if he hadn't lost. He lost though, but he would have won otherwise.

Trump is a pathological liar. Anything he says believe the opposite.
