I actually returned the filter it was leaking and for some reason ppm went up to 250 and ph to 8,1 so not sure if it was intended but that descreases amount of food u can give wich is not a bad thing but i trying to find better filter
Fuck man. That sucks. Thanks for the update. Price looked "too good to be true".
Two five gallon buckets with one or two gravity feed high end carbon ceramic filters will quickly filter rain water or any water source other than tap water without waste without toxins or bacteria. Water needs to be at room temperatures. This type of filter is about 120 dollars. You will have a product that is not full of toxic fluoride with heavy metals. Fluoride is a carcinogenic poison right, you all know this right, and plants absorb it readily. Fluoride also makes people passive and dims their thinking. RO does not remove it at all, neither does carbon.
What filters exactly are you talking about?

so far the best one is this

ratio is 1:1 or 1:2 depends on ur tap ppm , if its below 300 ppm the 1:1 is ok . replacement filters are 125$ total once a year. (RO membrane is 68 $ but can be replaced once every 2 year)

Mount this in a five gallon bucket, the water goes though the filter and out the bottom to the bucket below. I would call with questions, they seem pleased to get them, like is a gravity feed system better and why, what is the filter made out of and why did you choose that medium, how many gallons will a filter purify, how many gallons if I use 5 filters, will it filter e-coli bacteria and viruses, what else does it filter, what will it not filter.
Can I drink water out of a mud hole that's next to a fertilizer plant, I don't know any in depth answers, but this sucker works for sure. Just call and ask.

I'm saying to just use the replacement filter, you can find the whole setup cheaper else where, ask them where you can by it cheaper, ask if you can use a bucket like I said.
