both plants.jpgHi all,
I am new to growing pot and have had 2 plants in veg stage (indica) about 10weeks and my white widow is now in week 8 of veg stage.
I have read many forums and explanations about how long to veg your plants and was curious about leaving them a bit longer in order to get better yield.
I have been using led lights (spider farmer SF1000 and now new SF2000 in my 5 x 5 Gorilla tent.
I also used my sF1000 and King Led 1000 for the first 8 weeks of veg stage. Just replaced both lights for SF2000 today.
I have another tent to use for clones and vegging once I start to flower in my Gorilla tent. My other tent is a 2-1 tent 3ftx3ft for veg and 1ft x 3ft for clones and seedlings.
I am including a picture of my 2 plants and want to know if it is ok to continue vegging for now.

Thanks

you did something to stunt their growth. those are quite small for 10 weeks and they dont look all that happy.

As he said
Yeah they aint like standing up happy and i would have plants through the ceiling in 10 weeks veg lol ive literally had a untopped white widow be over 6 foot with a 5 week veg time was a rookie mistake my first grow many years ago but you get the idea your plants should be bigger aint trying to insult you either just saying something must be up

I would agree they do look a bit stunted...especially on the left. Not a happy plant at all! What size pots are they in & what’s your medium, nute schedule, temps and ph? And how often are you watering/feeding them? Somebody here might be able to help you out if you give us that info @couzican

water is given when soil is dry on top 1.5". Nutrients is sometimes Kelp or liquid seaweed with molasses ph at 6.5-6.9.other nutrients solution is PH Perfect Micro, Grow and Bloom, at 4ml per liter with PH at around 6.8

sorry forgot to mention soil is mix of happy frog with Ocean forest as well as cow manure compost with perlite. Temperature is around 75F with RH at 55%.

There’s some great soil growers round here that should be able to help you out using that info, as there definitely seems to be something going on! I grow in coco and am of zero use to you!
Good luck though bud!

Thanks for your response.
I forgot to mention that my seeds are old.
The Indica (unknown strain) came from a farm which used to have an illegal grow op some years back. The seeds are quite old so I know the older seeds will not grow as well as some newer seeds bought from seed farm.
My white widow seed is also old and came from some friends kids who have had them for some time. Not sure how long.
Anyway I have some new Acapulco Gold seeds, Afghan Hash Plant seeds Trainwreck, Girls Scout cookies and Mama Thai seeds from a known grower which I am germinating at this time and will see if results are better with new feminized and auto seeds than I've had with the older seeds.

For being a new grower you are doing good they are green and healthy maybe not happy but you are not that far off keep veg'n get them happy before you flower
