I voted for Bernie in the 2016 primary but when he lost by double digits I had no problem voting for Hillary.

It's what happened after the convention that kind of turned me off to the whole Bernie thing.

Our primary is in April so I may wind up voting for him again if it looks settled by then, just to show solidarity.

I still think money in politics sucks. Whether it's big money or accumulated big money from small donations, it's still big money in politics.

There used to be FCC equal time laws. I recently watched the Muhammad Ali-Jimmy Young fight from April 1976 on YouTube. Frank Gifford was doing the preflight show in Baltimore. There were numerous politicians in the crowd and Gifford said on the air that he couldn't interview any of them because of equal time laws.

How things have changed. You can almost buy an election now if you have the money. That just doesn't seem right and I don't care where the money came from, it's still money if you know what I mean.

I got an idea, whenever ya see the name Bernie in a thread don't post to it, it will soon disappear to the back of the pack. However Bernie is in the news and all the rage in some circles, he's causing rage in others and consternation in the rest, so expect people to post anyway.

While that may be true to a point, it's a good exercise to see how some of these candidates might do when they get in the ring with Trump, who fights like a rabid animal.

Ok, I’m watching. They are all rabid animals. Warren is a German Sheppard. Mikey is a Daushound. Biden Is a Pittbull. Steyer is a mutt. Pete is a Yorkshire Terrior. Amy is a Poodle.
Pete is obviously the best. On FIRE! Ripping everyone shreds. Plus he is young and heathy in the prime of his life no need to wear adult diapers, not suffering from Coronary artery Disease or Dementia. Pete and Biden are the only options if you have any clue of reality and keeping the Democratic Party strong.

Politics is nasty business and when it breaks down it gets far nastier, politicians have been doing this shit since the founding of America and in the 19th century almost all newspapers were rabidly partisan party organs, journalistic neutrality was a recent thing and it's lasting about as long as the smell of a fart in a strong wind this days.

It didn't seem like stuttering to me, it seemed more like divining to me.

Besides I wasn't making fun of him. I was simply pointing out that he's not the best guy to go head to head in a debate against Trump, because as you said he can't even keep his words straight. I thought you wanted to beat Trump, not give him a mouse to play with and then devour.
