Hey All,
I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada,
This is my first grow and it'll be quite the learning experience for me.
I am doing this as a hobby to help occupy my mind while dealing with mental illnesses.

This is what I'm starting with:
  • MARS HYDRO 4x2 Grow Tent
  • AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6
  • VIVOSUN 6 Inch Air Carbon Filter
  • General Hydroponics CALiMAGic Quart
  • VIVOSUN 5-Pack 5 Gallons Heavy Duty Thickened Nonwoven
  • Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Hydroponic Nutrients
  • (2) 240w KB-QB272X2-LM301H with CREE XP-E2 660nm - 730nm - LG UV
  • Pro-Mix HP
Going to try to grow Gelat.OG Feminised

Have fun...I too started this to help with my ptsd and physical ailments from the infantry. It will take on a life of it's own lol. Growing is like golf, awesome and damn hateful at the same time haha!

Hey Man, sorry to hear that you're suffering but glad that you have cannabis to help you out. To some its a damn life saver.

I have no idea how to place these lights so they make sense

Its a 2x4 tent -
lights are
24"X8"

I don't really want the lights touching the sides of the tent.

Should I unfortunately just rock out one light in there?

You need to turn on your lights and see the coverage of how you set them. Generally it's a good rule of thumb to have your lights about 18 to 20 in above your plants depending on how powerful your light is. If they're seedlings and your light is an LED light you can lower down to 13 in. Check out this link.

Lookin good happy. Placement of lights is different for everyone, strain and stage will effect distance.
Does your light have a dimmer?
Most people start with the lights like 36” up and work down a bit each day. Once they find the sweet spot they adjust the power of the light up slowly over time.

get some stakes to support the seedlings just Incase they stretch a bit before you find the sweet spot with the light.
