Could have a hermaphrodite on your hands. But those balls, are definitely "balls". A female Calyx does look very similar to the male pollen sacks, when the plant is just beginning to show signs of sex. But the calyxs is typically an elongated cone shape, where the pollen sacks are a bit more rounded.. and a calyx will push pistils out of it, which helps differentiate between male/female as well.
Your plant shows pollen sacks, AND at the top pistils (which would indicate female). If it is a hermie, or has hermie tendancies, its likely something you'd be battling with throughout your grow... and while i believe you can remove the pollen sacks in instances like this, and still try to make the plant "work", all it takes is one missed ball, and it will pollinate your entire plant, plus infest your grow area with pollen that could end up pollinating future grows.
Maybe wait for another reply and see what they think.. as im not super experienced in hermie/male plants, beyond knowing what they would look like
