im actually taking everyone advice and getting the t5s as well as the HLG550 I will use the 550 in a 5x5 tent (60x60x80)Yeah you want T5 HO if you're going to veg with flourecent light. 5000k or 5500k bulbs.
I run 2 4 foot 8 bulb T5 fixtures in my 5x5 veg tent and they are great for using with LST and keeping short spread out plants. I run them at like 6" and move them up as leaves touch the bulbs.
Ok. So. im going with 2 of these one for intake and one for out. What are everyones thoughts
They are very powerful. I think you would be fine with a 4 or 6" as the intake. Honestly with the 8" exhaust you probably are fine with passive intake. My closet is 4x5 and I run the 4" on speeds 3-5 and its plenty strong, and just use passive intake. Maybe the 6" if you are adding a carbon filter.Ok. no no only two in a 60x60x80 with a 1000 watt LED I chose this because on those hot summer days ill need it to keep things nice.740 cfm per fan, you're going to be moving a shit ton with three of them bad boys, a bit over kill imo
yo u think 2 6 inches would be a better choice? They are very powerful. I think you would be fine with a 4 or 6" as the intake. Honestly with the 8" exhaust you probably are fine with passive intake.
