yo u think 2 6 inches would be a better choice?
In order to create negative pressure you want a higher rate of exhaust than intake. This way you know your dirty hot air is getting pulled out. So either much smaller intake than exhaust, or just passive intake should be fine with these AC infinity fans. Just my opinion, other people might have different suggestions or experiences to share.

You said you wanted larger fans to keep the tent cool. Do you have AC in the room the tent will be in? Fans do help with airflow and reducing RH, but your temps are never going to be less than the intake temp. Another thing to consider is that using LED you want to keep your temps a little higher than under HPS. Like 81-85F is the sweet spot. With both of those things in mind, I keep my room temp at 70-75 degrees, and my closet stays at 80-85. Your exact lighting choice and whether you choose to mount your drivers inside or outside the tent will affect your own numbers.

I would start with buying a single Cloudline T6, get your lights up, and monitor temps for a few days. Then you can decide if you need active intake and can get another fan. Another intake option instead of spending all that for another Cloudline.. they make these nice computer fan style with a grill called their Airplate series I think. You can even link them together via usb and have a single ac power for a few fans.

no no only two in a 60x60x80 with a 1000 watt LED I chose this because on those hot summer days ill need it to keep things nice.
I'm not an led user, but my understanding is that they are very efficient at turning electricity into light energy, unlike hide, which mean they run much much cooler . t5s also don't run too hot fwiw

ok so heres the linup as it stands with the decreased fan size but still 2 cause "shit happens" also let me know if I should get maybe a 4 inch for intake and use the 6 for scrubbing.

Thats a good start. What light are you going to use for flower or is this a veg only tent?

You will also need at least 1 oscillating fan to hit your plants, and if you use led and keep your driver inside the tent you may want another fan blowing directly on that. I like the vertical tower style fans over the clip on style fwiw.

Also depending on grow medium and nutrients you are using you will need pots and either individual saucers or trays to catch runoff when watering. Also a PH pen.

The list of supplies needed never really ends as you will always have new ideas and better ways for your next grow. One thing I will suggest is start with the basics, its really easy to spend on stuff and it winds up not being what you need or more than what you need. Thats why I suggested starting with just 1 fan and seeing how it works first. But you are right, 2 would give you rendundancy if one failed. So in that case yes a 6" exhaust and 4" intake would be fine. You can probably run the intake on the lowest setting and it will be good.

this will be a flowering tent and I have a HLG 550 V2 RSPEC otw. "yeeeee" and as for medium I haven't decided. im thinking organics for nutes idk what would be best for most exotic strains of today?

Nice the 550 should be sweet in that tent for flower.

With that in mind, environmental control of cooling, heating, and dehumidifier in the room outside the tent (or in the tent if you have space) are your next biggest things besides lights.

As for grow medium I definitely am a fan of soil and organically grown. Ive been using Fox Farm Ocean Forest / Happy Frog and Malibu Bus blend w some added perlite as my soil for a long time. I then use the Roots Organics line of liquid nutes indoors and their dry ammendments on outdoor with great success. Soil growing can be simple or complicated, and a lot of it comes down to personal preference. Im about to switch up to a DIY "veganic" super soil mix with a goal of feeding plain water throughout the grow (plus a weekly dose of Recharge). There are many more experienced and wise growers on here that can guide you if you want to go the Living Soil / No Till route as well.

One super important thing to consider is how you will water your plants in a 5x5. SOG or SCROG in that size tent will pose challenges when watering unless you really plan it in advance. Im trying to squeeze more plants into mine now to get more to a SOG setup, but need to decide on my new watering method first bc I can barely get in there as is.

If you haven't yet I would buy the Jorge Cervantes grow bible or whatever its called, or even just start by reading the entire http://growweedeasy.com site. There is a lot of knowledge on RIU but those 2 resources will give you a jump start on some of the basics.
