Dense buds??

I agree. Use lots of light. Are you using any fertilizer to fatten the buds? I know this round I’m gonna use some.
 
So I 100% agree with the first 2 responses here.

Chopping early is one of the mistakes, if not the number 1 mistake I see growers make regularly and repeatedly. Sadly it’s not even just new growers that do it either. It takes us all time to learn how these plants grow and mature. It took me a few grows before I was putting the dots together. Now I try to help new growers avoid this common mistake.

I’m on my phone so I can’t post it right now but I have a little maturity guide that I regularly share in here with growers trying to understand the plants full maturation process. (Maybe one of the members that knows will copy and paste it for us).

Chopping plants early will totally reduce bud density, weight, terpenoids, and overall quality. New growers are always worried about letting plants go “too long” and them degrading. But they don’t realize chopping early is exponentially worse for bud quality. You would have to leave a plant a crazy amount of time PAST it’s actual maturity point for it to get ruined, so long that in 14 years I’ve NEVER seen someone accidentally do it.

Yes you have put things into perspective here I have done 4 grows in total which is nothing... and I must of chopped every single one early. Its waiting them extra 2-3 weeks when they look completely done... patience I see is massive! I am going to let these drop to the floor before I chop them, thanks everybody for your help and advice !! Much love peeps. U.k

Mine are day 52 I just gave them their last feeding before chop which is supposed to be day 65 so 2 week flush. But i'll let them go an extra 3 or 4 days probably. Surely it depends on the strain and some people don't flush at all

Thank you Thundercat. Chopping too early was my first thought reading this thread. You definitely saved me from making that mistake.

You see I have halfed the base nutes (canna flores) and they are yellowing... I might just keep them full dose

So these are from seed not clones..maybe are requiring different strength of nutrients ?

Back left plant is burnt a tad , back right has yellow leaves since nutes dropped...? Any I put peeps?20200229_111859.jpg
