Sepulfly-just wondering if anyone has used ocean forest mixed 50/50 with happy frog and if so how it worked out, i've been thinking about doing this for my next grow thanx.
this is perfect recipes that i used it all the time ! you wont be disappoint with that mix....good job, sir and gave ya +rep.treemansbuds, not sure if you'll end up readin' this or not...but I am going to also try out the 50/50 blend of FF Happy Frog and FF Ocean Forest. I plan on adding about 20% perlite and about a tablespoon of powdered dolomite lime per gallon (so, about 3tbsp per 3 gallon pot).
True..it shouldnt plant seed into a hot soil..its better start with rockwool, rapid rooters, or starter soil etc...its better to transplant when its veg stage..since seedling last like 3 or 4 weeks...this is a hot mix here if your starting seeds in it. Its not gonna burn your plants, but if theyre not old enough or strong enough when you transplant, the leaves will yellow a little. BUT its a good mix none the less. just a heads up and good luck
