That's way too early for me, but I'm way up der in Da U.P. der...
Last season, I put a 3 week old plant, into a 3x3x3 raised bed, in early June, and it ended up taking up about half of my 10x20 cage...
I'm in a rural(ish) neighborhood, so the cage has to be fully invisible, but to stay within city ordinance, fences can't be over 6 feet, so I had to keep her low and wide....it kinda sucked in a way, but it was my first serious outdoor run, so now I adapt.
This year, I'm waiting until July, gotta keep em smaller. 8-10 smaller plants, vs 3 monsters....
Is this grow going to be restricted in height?
Do you have a full understanding of the applicable regulations?

Im in SW Mich & I'll be putting out a bit earlier than that but 75% will be 2-3 cycles of autos. (Mine will go into a green house though) Depending on how long you vegged inside, mid May will be fine. I'll do a few regular outside the greenhouse for concentrates/cooking but just get ready for massive harvest come September/October. Common for me to get 1lb+ per plant but you'll need lots of support and make sure you start covering it at night & shaking in the morning come late season or bud rod will be the death of you

Last year was terrible I lost alot of buds to bud rot even after shaking dew of every morning this year I might get a small leaf blower to blow off the heavy rain. Do you start your plant on a 24 he light schedule or what

SW Michigan. Mid May. Get something that finishes fast. I like moma Mia and most anything from Seedsman that says fast. Also plant some that may go a little longer so harvest is staggered

Last year the weather was FUCKT. That was one of the most humid rainy summers I can remember.

You should be fine early to mid may all depends what mother nature throws at us. Biggest thing for you- pick strains that flower fast. Canuk seeds has a whole new lineup of "fast flowering photos." Seems how they are in Canada it makes sense they would invest the time and money into developing fast flowering strains.

This year im buying a greenhouse off Amazon because the weather can be ALL OVER the place. <$150 will get you a 12ft x 20ft. Should last a few years as long as I take care of it

Yes a greenhouse will at least keep the rain off them which is the biggest part of the battle. You can also put some oscillating fans in a greehouse.

Around 46N parallel, I put mine out usually around the 2nd week of June. As others have stated, you will really need something that flowers fast. Ive tried many supposedly fast flowering strains that never fully developed in this area. It’s really a shame when everything goes well all season and frost sneaks up sooner than expected to leave you with nothing but a half assed hash pile.

I’m going to experiment with de-budding this year to see if I can get more acceptable product when battling against a short season. Hoping by focusing on fewer bud sites I’ll have less, but more dense, buds rather than a huge plant of larf due to 6/7 weeks of flowering. Anyone ever de-bud or lollipop outdoor that can share their results?
