Did I butcher my plants?

So my plants are just about a month old, and i decided to do some more topping (I had only topped once before with them and it was over a week ago, the recovered strongly and quickly) so I thought hmmmm why not too some branches? I topped the tops and then maybe 2-3 branches per plant. They look just fine but I read that doing that can shock them and cause hermies, now I’m like fuck.... i sure hope it doesn’t. They seem to be doing well for the most part. I just did this to them yesterday so they’re a bit wilty, but they have plenty of water and I recently gave them nutrients which they took happily. (About a week ago) I’m flowering in about two weeks as I have limited space in my 4x4x8 tent, and they’re all Sativa dominant, so I’ll need as much space as possible. Probably when they’re like 16 inches I’ll switch. Maybe I could wait a little longer? Idk you guys tell me your opinions. Peep the Halloween PJ’s and don’t judge lol.

They look fine to me considering you just topped them yesterday although they actually look more indica dominant which would suit your limited space better than sativas. They'll take five or six days to fully recover from the topping but they'll snap back. I'd hold off on removing any more of the larger leaves until there becomes an actual need to do so.

I know Just Be and Angus Hung have answered your questions already, but I wanted to mention to you that I would not be worried much about Hermies at all if you're growing with solid genetics. Topping a plant rarely ever causes enough stress to cause that big of an issue, I've actually never seen it happen in my decade of growing (probably over 200-250 plants at this point).

Sit back and relax, the others are right. Wait two weeks and flip 'em.

I feel a lot better now, I’m really happy with them as this is my first grow. I can’t wait to switch them into flower! Glad I don’t have to worry about hermie problems, Thanks for the reply!
