just saw these. and they started selling some white/red strip lights too

looks like they use meanwell driver on this one (at least in the picture). if they used proper diodes it might be something to consider.

at over $1/w overpriced imo. can diy something sick for that. having never used it, i'd say this light looks like a big step up for them.

i also appreciate that they're calling a 250w light a "250". and it probably could flower a 2x4 decently. less deceptive marketing.

Ts has been tested by migrow and its actually qute good..the epistar chips are brand new and not the old ones..I love how people chat nonsense before they actually do the light meter, spread and sprectrum tests..an considring how much lightoutput you get per watt versus cost, its actually very good ...now for someone like migrow to independently test these and say there very impressed knowing statments like that and public testing could cost him bizzness actually speaks volumes about the product..you cant argue with the actual results and data...some of the bigger models put out some impressive numbers and light spread, especially considering the cost...the blurples have been left far behind.

It is funny seeing all the people with an opinion that have never used the light. Just grabbed one of these to use in a 3x3 mother tent and they are loving it. Cost me $130 and only burns 150 watts over 9 mothers. Pretty good spread if you ask me. And I am someone who has actually used the light.

First cycle under the TS1000. I left for a 2 week vacation and didn't think the girl on the left would get any taller. Fortunately this light runs so cool that the main cola was just a couple inches away from the light and didn't get burned.

I have the set up in a closet, 2*2*4 and heat isn't an issue at all. Super impressed so far.

The light pumps out and the spread is awesome. I have been very impressed with the mothers under them. No stretching, no low light areas. 150w in a 3x3 tent. Hard to beat that for the price

There's group of guys that like this dude Allot & i happen to like that group of guys. So i won't get to detailed incase they feel the need to defend him.
Teknik had the makings of a good asset to everyone here if only he didn't come here acting like he knew it all, being very abrasive.
Sure, he could tinker with leds & buy special photon/light measuring devices instead of buying a car or dating a chick. But there Was Soooo much he did not know when he first came here.
Was over the top insulting with zero respect for the truth. Tried to help him but how do you help broken glass w/o getting cut?
Geek out on leds all you want but dont claim to understand the growth characteristics caused by them when you never grew a pott plant in your life.
Was beside himself that one could even create a 95 cri fuller spectrum using monos to enhance white & still have amongst the highest efficiency. Lol!
Kid bombarded my PM's with messages calling the Bar-8 a Cookie-Cutter light... How does that even come close to making any sense when they are fully custom? Not coppied on Alibaba or anything due to patents . Only cheap knock offs.
So dude came off mad arrogant, rude & bordered being suspected as a Gremlin (implanted bug or virus)
Glad he helped someone, somewhere.
That does not mean he's much different then 88% of these companies providing only what we think we want based on replies & demand.
His customers do the morphological testing, not him. Not the Geek Squad.
So when he came to me runnin his mouth w/o a clue about what he was talking about, damn Skippy i put him in his place.
If he can't see he was wrong by now & offer me a counter apology then he's obviously got issues.
