Blue Dream or Humboldt Dream. Which seeds to order?

Too many ppl have had bad luck with his seeds lately from what I've read over the last year. His website hasnt changed in 5 years it looks like since I've been watching it so not sure how fresh his seed stock is or if hes still breeding or just sitting on thousands of old seeds. Find the clone only blue dream and you'll be much better off.

That's what I was thinking. I dont know what he charges nowadays but $50 a seed, gtfoh.

I'll my grape sato cut up against anything you'd find in a greenthumb bean.

HSO is no good in general. Greenthumb is sketchy, from my research. I'm so sick and tired of all these knock off strains.

Here, I'll let the cat out. You want something that makes the real Blue Dream obsolete? Check out SnowHigh Blueberry Blast which is a cross of the real clone-only Blue Dream with Johnny Blaze (Haze x Blueberry). Johnny Blaze (no longer avail) is legendary with those in the know. Now go do your research on IC mag about Blueberry Blast and thanks me later. SnowHigh still has Blueberry Blast and you can buy directly from him. Look up his Instagram account where you can get his email address. Then email him for the seed list and buy direct. He will also give you a shit load of freebies from his releases and not some non-tested tester packs.

Additionally, SnowHigh also has Pipe Dream which is the real clone-only Blue Dream crossed with Acapulco Gold x C99. This stuff would also make the real Blue Dream obsolete, but I think Snow High had just ran out of stock on this cross.

So yeh, either Blueberry Blast or Pipe Dream will make the real Blue Dream looks bad.

BTW, you'll be impressed once you get SnowHigh's seed list. You won't find crappy polyhybrids laced with sleep inducing indicas like most "breeders" throw out nowadays. What you will find are exotic landrace crosses, heirloom, and pure strains that only the most dedicated and passionate growers would grow.

Thanks for that, Blueberry Blast seems really cool and I'll definitely check it out. PeakSeedsBC started crossing their Blueberry with their Haze and I bought a pack to try out. His prices are great and people seem to really like his gear.

I was mentioning HSC, a legit Humboldt-based breeder, and definitely not HSO (although I did get a 5-pack of Black D.O.G. because it seems as if people who don't like them still like this one). HSC's Humboldt Dream is supposed to be really well-liked, but reviews are hard to come across online. Maybe I should search Leafly.

I don't know why Greenthumb's seeds seem to cause difficulty for some, while others seem to get near 100% germination. Even though his genetics seem legit and he's local to me, it is a bit scary. I was thinking of shelling out for a pack of his beans, to split with some friends, to see how germination goes, I think that his Blue Dream is an s1.

Oopsy. The moment I saw anything with Humboldt, I thought it was HSO which is blah. How can you trust a "breeder" who releases a strain called Blue Dream when everyone knows it's a clone-only strain. That automatically tells me these HSO guys are not legit.

I would stick with strains that have many smoke and grow reports and SnowHigh's Blueberry Blast and Pipe Dream have many.

I know about PeakSeedsBC's Haze x Blueberry which is not stable as it's being tested. I would not waste my 3-4 months of my time on that and stick with the tried and trued.

Black dog by HSO was spot on. I'm still running the BlackBerry pheno I found. It literally tastes and smells like blackberries.

This pheno was raspberry metallic tasting, more indica.

Now their blue dream and sour blueberry were mediocre.

I am growing some Humboldt seed org. Blue Dream CBD right now. The claim is 15% THC and 15% CBD.
Got them from a place in Europe, Supreme Seed Co. The ordering, shipping and receiving went fine.
Only in to them for a few weeks right now.
