MY RUNOFF IS COMING OUT TO 3000 PPM FOR MY SEEDLINGS

Not a soil expert by any means but I get some pretty high numbers from my soil. Here’s what I’ve found. If your tap water ph is high it won’t hurt too much. Just try to water as few times as possible. Letting it dry out good before watering again.

When I tried lowering my ph of my tap water to 6.5 it was killing my seedlings. Soon as I stopped adjusting it things were fine. It comes out of my tap around 8-9.
I've also had other people tell me to keep the ph of your water at 5.8 to 6.2 so I don't know who to believe Haha

If this was my problem I’d fill a solo cup full of the soil, run enough ph’ed water through it till my ppm hit about 450 ( if it will), ph at 6.3. Dump it out of cup and let it dry till it’s moist, refill cup and relocate one of your little guys to it. See what happens. It’s a bit of work, but worth a shot.

Well they are correct. I believe that’s for hydro/coco. I’m not familiar with that.

I’m saying in organic soil you do not have to ph your water. And in my very limited experience high ph water was not killing my seedlings like it did when I lowered it.

Op I forgot to ask is this pheno or auto?

I was talking about what I do for autos. For phenos they may do something different. I should of asked.

Yeah I'm really trying to get into growing autos good Ina coco/perlite mix for faster production... I was sleeping on autos until I saw that you can actually get good yields from them being crossed by other photos... I'm using roots organic dry amendments grow/bloom/calcium/magnesium.
