I've also had other people tell me to keep the ph of your water at 5.8 to 6.2 so I don't know who to believe HahaNot a soil expert by any means but I get some pretty high numbers from my soil. Here’s what I’ve found. If your tap water ph is high it won’t hurt too much. Just try to water as few times as possible. Letting it dry out good before watering again.
When I tried lowering my ph of my tap water to 6.5 it was killing my seedlings. Soon as I stopped adjusting it things were fine. It comes out of my tap around 8-9.
