First time grow. Are these behind

Are these going to be small buds? Starting week 6 of flower. I see a ton of pistols but no bud forming yet. I know that the pistols become buds. Are they way behind? I’m making sure to water when needed and watch for nutrient problems. I just watch a lot of videos and most people in week 6 have descent buds by week 6. All I’ve seen in the last week is pistols turning orange. Rh is around 50% most of the time. I keep it about 65 in dark and 77 in light. I am probably being impatient. Idk

They look good.
Sometimes they seem to slow down at that stage before they begin to ripen and fatten up.

Are you counting 6 weeks from the day you switched your light schedule, or from the first day you started to see the flowers (mini Afros) forming witch was probably about 10 days after the light flip? Here is a picture of mine as of Friday, according to the day I flipped the light to 12/12 I would be at about 10 weeks, but I didn’t see the actual flowers for another 10+ days so that would put her going into week 8 if you understand what I am saying.

I was counting from day of flip. So should I count from first signs of flower. Yes it was about 10 days before I seen pistols

That’s the million dollar question! To me the timing to size of the plant lines up, and it takes away the question of “why is my plant not ready?” This is only my second grow, so I am definitely not a expert but I have been researching as much as possible. And IT IS ONLY MY OPINION and believe me there are lots of them out there!

Forget timing them ... run them til they are done , plants will not follow “ your timeline “ . Keep them happy and healthy and they will push forward. If you try dumping this or that on it to “ make “ flower better will only muck your grow so far. Throw as much light at it as you can ... even if it’s supplemental. Flowers will bulk over time , just stay the course.

thanks man. Definitely will keep at it. I’m not dumping anything in my plants. Lol. Only use roots organic bottle nutrients.
