Just wondering what people think of this light for 240cm x 120cm x 200cm tent and what sort of yield I could get this was hoping for 8 plants under it thanks.

Just from what you’ve posted I’d say you’d need 2 of these for that size area to light it properly man

edit: you could possibly fit eight smaller plants underneath depending on your veg time and training techniques

a lot of variables on yield but if you get things right with the right genetics you should be able to pull upto 2gpw

Nice fixtures.
You'd need ~ 1200 watts to cover 8ft x 4ft.
That fixture will give you ~ 23 watts per sq ft which is not really enough.
It's more suited for a 5 x 5 area. 30 watts per sq ft
So 5ft x 4ft of the 8ft x 4ft. You would need to add another fixture to cover the 4ft x 3ft area.
It's a pity the fixture was not made 1100mm x 1100mm for better light spread.
You could drop a reflective curtain down to make the area smaller maybe.
2 of these would be a better fit
ISH530 V2 - Horticultural Lighting System - Powered By Samsung LED
Invisible Sun LED UK

For example, my mate uses an 8ft x 4ft tent with 2 x hlg550 r specs with a hlg300 in the middle - 10 boards.
Here had the 8ft x 4ft with 3 x hlg550s before he got the hlg300! Lol

Well, you could maybe build your own lights if you are any way handy. It's quite easy or what about buying a couple on Alibaba? Check out the led section for good info
The Thread below is good

Hope that helps.

I thought about building my own with Samsung f series strips but I think for my tent it might still cost around £800+

Yea, F strips are great. I have the 2ft ones.
Your £800 sounds about right.
I suppose you'd need a min of 8 of the 4ft double row F Strips - £300 and 2 x MW 480H 48A drivers - £200 + aluminium c channel, and aluminium frame, wire, wagos m4 nuts n bolts or double sided thermal tape. You'd need to price the aluminium. That would definitely work.
To go big, the 600h 48A driver costs £150 each × 2, £300 and 10 strips £370 + alu ~ £800

The first diy option, not too bad of a price for 30 watts per sq ft, evenly covering the whole canopy with light, that's what I like about these bar lights like the new Lumatek 600 led.
I hope you get sorted

2ft is the 560mm ones lol
The 4ft ones in link below. Actually 1120mm or 44 inches

Scroll down for examples of builds for 4ft x 4ft
I’m an idiot bongsmilie, do u think 2 of 560mm ones on the same aluminium u channel so with added mm basically 1200mm and have 10 of those bars so in total 20 f series strips for the 8x4 would that be enough for 8 plants with good yields with everything else spot on?

Those strips are 2ft 560mm Single row strips LT562B with 4000 lumens 23v ~25 watts
You'd need 40 of them with a different driver
10 quid each

The 2ft 560mm DOUBLE row strips are LT564B with 8000 lumens ~46V ~ 50 watts for 20 of them
19 quid each

4ft double row SI-B8UZ91B20WW 18000 lumens ~ 46V ~ 100 watts for 10 of them 37 quid each

Is this the same one? Also is this enough to run all 10 bars for 8x4? And just to Thankyou again for all your help I really do appreciate it!

The 480 driver is 10 Amps. So 2 drivers needed for each 4 x 4
10 Amps ÷ 5 strips = 2 amps per strip. For wiring in Parallel. Perfect.

Each 4ft strip has nominal current of 2.24 Amps. Max Amps is 3.6 amps
