Can someone please tell me why people are bulk buying bog roll ? I'm dumb founded lol, its getting to point now where people who don't give fuck has to give fuck and stock up because there is non, people who are buying in bulk are causing more problems in opinion, my house hold buys a pack 9 a fortnight/14 days, why stock ? Stockers are making people stock and for what ? The bank toilet papers are making is crazy making me think the manufactures are the ones causing it for example buying 100 retain to sell an extra 1000 causing a picnic

I cant speak for anywhere other than Australia but down here media reports of shortages in China, Japan, Singapore etc. caused an initial group of hoarders to act like paranoid fuckwits. Either they didnt realise we manufacture it here in Oz or they thought COVID causes the runs. I dont know.
But in a nutshell, its the crowd mentality that snowballed out of control. Ironically the very people who originally fretted about a nation-wide supply problem are the people who've created one. If you see old mate buying 100+ rolls and the shelves emptying then yeah you better stock up too. So you buy 100 rolls, and so does everyone else. Nek minute people are getting stabbed over bog roll.
Its a national embarrassment.

It’s an embarrassment to humanity how people are reacting. I don’t know why people are hoarding toilet roll, my only guess is that humanity and people are a bit like sheeps, they all follow the crowd. One lot of people do it, then more, then it gets publicity, then everyone panics and thinks - everyone else is buying loads so I will too! None of the symptoms of corona virus include a dodgy stomach, so why people feel the need is beyond me.
what’s more funny, is that I watched the news last night, and they went to the factory that manufactures cushell toilet roll (for those in UK will know they’re huge) and they said they normally sell 28 million rolls in this month period and this year they’ve sold 78 million rolls ahaha but they said they have tens of millions stockpiled so don’t know why everyone is panicking thinking there’s a shortage.

Because these people came out of their y2k bunker and saw what was going on. They disobeyed orders from the president and CDC and put us all at more risk over TP.

I brought a pack of 4 today for £1 (uk) from my local not normal my normal soft tissue brand but dose the job and can't complain at 25 pence a roll, that being said from tomorrow theres big changes coming to UK and things are about change, also I'm finding it hard to my grocery shopping online as there are no slots available at ALL supermarkets I find a available spot for 29th at (asda/target) as target owns asda ) but I'm betting most of my checkout basket will out of stock by then
