So that is gorilla glue 4? I have seen that pop up lots? I bought a few gorilla glue white???? From a supplier not sure if that’s the same strain or close to it.
Just wanting to look at what I end up with. Mine is a first grow, under shitty amazon light, in soil no training if but have really enjoyed the adventure before diving into a bunch of money.

I guarantee the strains are different. Honest Amsterdam coffee house bag seed from a bud to go. I'll have a mother for a long time with this one. I'd look into V2 cree cobs. Getting affordable. And GG eats some light and food. Ask if you need help. I'm soil all the way. And I'm lazy and frugal.

You can tell GG4 in veg, it has twisting leafs and the pistoles ( leaf stem) will be red/purple where they meet the stalk. Here’s some in veg, picking out the most twisted and purple bitch for a new mother.

That has similarities. Didn't get enough light. I believe white is a cross of White Widow and GG. Two excellent source strains. Should be good.

I like that it is a mutt, sooo many good genes in it and the taste morphs many times during cure, from chem/ diesel early, into a slight blackberry undertone, then the earthy spice aroma mellowing the chem taste and initial headband THC high. Took mine 3-4 days on rack and week and a half in jars easing it down to just under 60% RU.

Last weeks test taste likes shit. Was delicious wet. Knocked me down though. Good sign for two week early popcorn in the shade. Haven't forgotten you. Just resting up and keeping things sanitary.

Being old school. Hammers and chisel on stone tablet type. I suggest sticking with OG strains. Let other people get burned with all the fancy unstable genes. Get stock with a pedigree so to speak. Not because it is the latest trend.

Yes supposedly GG4 is clone only. (Big story behind its origin and handling, google it) a lot of people are not crazy about the taste, I find it more like the old school ‘81 Thai Sticks and Monkey paw that used to hit the streets around the same time. I have tried GG4 from the dispensary and like most others there it was wet trimmed in a mini car wash and cured to the consistency of lava rocks. Always liked a styrofoam density to the buds, makes for more joints. Also find it smoother and more aromatic, I think besides medical benefits (high THC rush early for getting things done , pain relief, long lasting buzz smooths out and sedative late) it’s a high yield, tough as hell plant that stacks trichromes and hand grenade size tops. In late flower you can see small drops of clear/amber resin Building on top of the glands, sticks together like hash until you get it under 60% RU. It will lay waste to any trimmers or grinders you use. I spray hands and blades with a little olive oil to keep it from building up. If it’s the original it will want to grow wild, not good structure but it responds great to super cropping, LST, HST, SCROG as you can see by Mich’s sweet grow. Stalk on his mother Looks like the headers on my GTO.

I think it's the density. Damn buds are always heavy for size. I don't think the chlorophyll is removed fast enough. Or can be. This popcorn was 2g at a week in 48% rh at 65F. Taste like grass on the end. A year later and it has that Mexi 80's veg taste at the end.

I have read that they buried them for 2 months after wrapped that might account for it. Or they picked it up on the Army transport planes they were smuggled back in. Maybe that’s why we havnt seen them since early 80’s. War on drugs, Iran/contra and all.
