Tie them down any time. When I'm doing a proper ScroG I'm tying down grow tips until the stretch is truly done.

No reason not to.

Thanks mate This is my first grow so nervous not to mess it up
Like having kids. lol Gets easier after a hundred or so. ;)

They're tough plants and I brutalize and neglect mine often but have jars full of pot all over the house.

More die from too much TLC than neglect so relax and enjoy the ride. pass.gif

Thanks so do you recommend autoflower over doing normal female seeds
I'm planning to grow some autos outside this year because regulars won't get close to finishing outside this far north but have just grown photos for the most part. Power is expensive here so running an extra 6 hours/day is costly. I got bunch of auto fem seeds to use. One is hi-CBD and the other is mostly THC I believe. Getting into making my own fem seeds with STS now too after 20 years of pollen chucking. :)

Start autos in a big pot if you want bigger plants as they will stay small in a small pot. Fussy that way. Could be useful if you just have one space to grow. Just stagger your planting so you harvest a plant every few weeks and you leave the lights on 20/4 and don't have to worry about light cycles.

I'll be planting 20 or so of those outside and see what I get. Got 25 plants in the house now as it is.

They have their place and their fans.

Headed for bed so g'night!
