Not enough Pot smokers in the country to get Paul elected, in fact Pot smokers generally don't do much to change anything, although a few thousand did come to the Paul rallies. It's the dunderheads of middle America that keep people like Paul from getting elected, check out the "Red" states, mostly farm boys and southern hicks, Remember the two backwoodsmen in Deliverance, they are your typical red state citizen. ~LOL~, Now I should get a fair share of flack on this.

ROFLMAO....I know, but rather that than a vote for Mccain or Obama.....:weed:
So, you couldn't determine which one would do the most good or the least harm, heck there's always the old coin toss thingy. Maybe you didn't want the stigma of having voted one in that a lot of Bush Voters must have.

I did something similar, i put all the candidates names on pieces of paper minus Obama and Mccain....drew the names out of a hat and old Ralphy won......I was kind of pulling for Mckinney but oh well....Nader it was........still it was a lot more fun then tossing my ballot in the trash...:hump:

You said, "tossing my ballot in the trash." By voting for Nader that is exactly what you did. You could have chosen to actually make a difference. How sad.

voting is about voting for a candidate you want to win, not only voting for the most likely winners because you will make difference, you vote for who you truly want to win...because you want to make a difference that matters, even if it is unrealistic you vote for what you believe in......I made some jokes in this thread, but what is the truth is I voted for what I believe in regardless of who tells me my vote was worthless......and that is what voting is all about....some how along the way we lost that......people are to dependent on what other people think to stand up for there beliefs.....bongsmilie

Although I disagree with your pick of candidate, I am one who would never tell you (or anyone else for that matter) that your vote doesn't matter. However, I will tell you that I admire and respect your unwavering conviction to vote your conscience. My compliments.
