How many BTU do I need for 8000 watts?

Debating on these mini splits. The room is 12 x 12 with about a 10 foot ceiling. The Lights are 1000 watts each and have no glass. So air cooling isn’t an option. I don’t want to oversize if I don’t have to(humidity issues and short cycling). I’m running it sealed with co2 20 lb tank(no generator) and the ballast are magnetic so those will run a little hotter. Besides the circulating fans. That’s about all of what’s going to produce heat.

The weather is roughly 80s in the summer about 50/40s at night. Gets much colder during the winter times. About 45-60 during the day and 25-35 at night. What do you think?

PIONEER® 36,000 BTU Model Number: RYB036GMFILDAD-16

GARRISON 27,000 BTU

IDEAL-Air 36,000 BTU

These are 3 units I can find on Craigslist. All come new still in box. Debating on which I would want. Thanks!

You’d better rethink running open, 1K HPS bulbs (multiple) with no exhaust or air replacement/cooling, regardless of size that room will be hot like the sun.

And thats why I'm looking at cooling options.... Many people on these forums use bare bulb or no glass..

Sorry if I misunderstood and was “Captain Obvious”
yes in fact I use open bulbs (open, 400w HPS vertical) but just to hang below the canopy and supplement my overhead CMH bulbs during flower. If you cant use cool tubes and vent to attic/garage/outside you may need to get one of those floor-sitting AC unit to put in there? Plus only run lights at night if your temps are that low? That unit you posted may be just the thing, I’ve just never had to cool like that and temps are why I move outdoor (legal-med state) during spring-summer....hopefully someone here has experience with that cooling unit you’re looking at (above).....it jus seems so expensive compared to something like this: https://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/cool-living-10000-btu-portable-room-air-conditioner-with-remote-control?a=2205017&pm2d=CSE-SPG-15-PLA&utm_medium=PLA&utm_source=Google&utm_campaign=CI&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkI-Tiaqz6AIVQV8NCh1I4QTKEAQYBSABEgK2wvD_BwE
