I have no idea but since all stores except food are closed i cannot buy a ph test do you know a way to make one? What is your soils pH at?
Check the pet isle in the grocery store and you may be able to find PH test kits for fish aquariums. In the meantime you can order something better on Amazon.I have no idea but since all stores except food are closed i cannot buy a ph test do you know a way to make one?
ThanksHmm good question, I'm not sure. The pH of your soil could be too acidic (or alkaline) in order for calcium to be taken up by the plant. I think its a good call adding the calmag, hopefully it helps bring the pH up. (if that is the problem)
Ok i will do that thank youIf you're growing in coco you should already have a pH meter so you can pH your nutrient solution before watering. If you haven't been doing that then you need to start. I wouldn't worry about testing the pH of the coco. Worry about the pH of what goes in. Just pH what you feed to around 5.8 -6.0 and the coco will adjust to the proper pH after a couple waterings.
As for dumping more stuff on that plant, it looks overfed as it is. Dumping more stuff on it isn't going to fix anything. I'd cut back whatever nutrients you're using to half strength.

My water ph is at around 5 with the nuts but 6 without. Should i just water it without the nuts for a while? If you're growing in coco you should already have a pH meter so you can pH your nutrient solution before watering. He may have a salt build up (high EC) maybe by flushing out the nutes he can raise his pH since it's higher to begin with. What do you think? Why wouldn't you just adjust the pH?
I've never grown in coco so I'm not sure how that would affect the plants. He may have a salt build up (high EC) maybe by flushing out the nutes he can raise his pH since it's higher to begin with. What do you think?
Can’t buy anything rn because of coronaWhy wouldn't you just adjust the pH?
I don’t think its mites because my other plants are fineDon't water with plain water....this is a huge mistake when growing in coco. This is not the cure to your problem.
It appears your plants have been fed a little too much (you may want to dial this back a smidge), they appear short on Ca and it looks like you have mite damage. With that being said, you will need to know your pH...it's an important variable to know and manage when growing in coco. Dial in your pH and mitigate the mites (if you indeed have them and my old eyes aren't just seeing things) firstly. Then make your adjustments...but not the other way around. Good luck.
Are you in the US? Pet stores and agricultural stores are considered essential and still open. Amazon works, too, in a pinch. Can’t buy anything rn because of corona
No Europe. Dont rlly want to say where bc its not legal to grow weed but all stores are closed except food. Agricultural ones are closed but i’ll check amazon thanksAre you in the US? Pet stores and agricultural stores are considered essential and still open. Amazon works, too, in a pinch.
Never run plain water through coco. Mix your nutes 1/4 - 1/2 strength and water with that until you get 10-20% runoff. My water ph is at around 5 with the nuts but 6 without. Should i just water it without the nuts for a while?
