yes you should go with ac infinity although i am growing in my closet using a 4 inch vivosun fan and i have to say i don't dislike having some background noise. i don't hear neighbors anymore which was bothering me

Speed setting is all you need when you use a seperate hygrometer to monitor the grow environment. Vivosun makes some nice affordable controllable inline duct fans. Apparently cheap fans can last just as long when you use a filter.

Ya, my wife loves the constant fan noise, and I do sleep better since I can't hear anything else, lol. I have 3 6", 2 4", and a bunch of circulating fans in my bedroom. It's really not that bad, I just have to turn the TV up louder, lol.

If you hang them with bungee cords they won't vibrate through the house. Or at least put some foam pads between the mount and wall. Bungee cords work way better though.

The AC Infinity T series is a great fan. My T6 that I use on my upstairs grow room does a fantastic job of keeping temps/humidity in line. Can't recommend enough.
