Scrog help

Mornin' Butternugs,
You have such a short main stem on that plant...but it's much cleaner down there. Good job.

And sure you were looking at the right pictures on her thread? DAT gets lots of folks posting pictures of their harvest. She was unhappy with it and said she wouldn't scrog NL again.
JD

It's more scroggy than most of what people post. At least it's one plant spread out and not five plants growing straight up through some 4" netting. While it might not be a perfect SCROG it's better than most of what's out there these days. Many people just throw a net up over some plants because they saw a net in some photo or youtube video.

I'm going to say that this IS a proper SCROG. Could it be better? Maybe. But there is no doubt that this is a SCROG.
I think you guys have some good advice, I plan on scrogging with this setup and training each plant away from the center hopefully to fill the entire 4 x 6 with canopy jungle. What do you think?IMG_2211.jpg

I filled up 4x3 with one plant trained for 4 tops verged for 8 weeks from seed and just tied down as it grew you should have no problem filling that area up

DWC? I might recommend that you cover those buckets with foil tape to keep out the light so they don’t get scummy. It will get nasty in there really quick. Hell I used clear tubing and it worked like fiber optic and made my buckets gross. Also those aero garden seed pods are probably going to split (the stems get huge) and not offer enough support when the plant gets big (they get heavy and they will lean). Not knocking ya just be prepared to tie em up later on because they are gonna want to rip/bend that cover. I tried the same thing with small net pots and the lid flexed so much plants fell in, had to put bamboo skewers in the sides to keep it up. Net pot lids are worth their weight in gold.

Yep, thanks for the advice. I'm going to take care of that today.
