Samsung F Strip Build

I will post all the links shortly.

For 6 strips you want to use the Meanwell HLG-240H-48B. Wire them in parallel, which is easy with the Wago connectors.

With these 3000k strips I don't feel the need to add any red, but I'm just on my first run with them. My plants are looking good though, I'll post a pic soon.
Hi sorry to jump in but I'm thinking of getting some of the influx l09 strips 3000k ones. Are you using for veg and flower? Just wondering . Cheers

No worries. Yes, plants veg well under these 3000k. Plenty of branching and healthy, green growth.

I see those strips are still $5, and people have been buying them. I look forward to seeing your builds.

How the Fuck are they onlY $5? They went up to $20+ a few days after you bought them and now they're back down again?! What's going on?

Easy people I found out about these on eBay as there is someone selling 6 for £60.. I googled the part number that brought me to this thread and then found they sell them from arrow for $5 , result. I just got 12 for £59 free shipping. I have a 240w driver at the moment but I'm going to get another and make 2 lights or maybe 3 out of the 12 and I will sell one. I got my self a quantum board from kingbrite and made a frame for that and since then all I wanted to do was build a strip led. With this lock down I got something to do lol.. will get an email 2moro with a tracking number. Hopefully it won't be ages. Thanks for letting people know about this great deal.

Glad to hear. They're working great for me. Even if they're not the most efficient, still cut my electrical usage in half.

Did you order any yet?
I haven't. I'm honestly worried that there'll be some kind of hiccup and Shit will go sideways with the order. That and I really don't need any at the moment, besides possibly some side lighting. Waiting on a new card in the mail anyways, so I wouldn't be able to order them even if I wanted to at the moment.

What happened with cobs? You know there are ones out there with 197 lm/W at 50W for around 25$ that you can simply stick to cpu heatsink, but i only see strips lately?

DIY builds really are so much fun to build. It isn't a chore whatsoever. I find it funny when people fear rigging a fixture together in this day. It's too easy.
I used to have to drill and tap huge heatsinks, solder all connections, and tinker with little aspects of the build to get a fixture finished.

It's 100% half the fun.. It's a challenge to some, but I love doing things like this. And the end product will be mint. I made a little frame for my quantum boards and I loved that..

If something is wrong then pay pal will just refund my money, but then it says $5 and I checked at check out and it all seems ok. Let's pray lol

I really enjoyed building my light, so much so that all i want to do is build another. All the time spent planning and choosing what products to use was a bit of a pain, but now I find myself browsing digikey and arrow looking at specs for no reason.

You really can't beat the light spread of strips
