How long are one of these strips? Theyre back @ $5 so planning a build, gotta make sure I have room. Thanks!Arrow Electronics has dropped the price of the 3,000K strips I use to only $5/each. They were $23 before. I bought another 15 immediately. I didn't look to see if the other ones (3500K, etc...) were also cheap now. I've got some plants vegging under the 3,000K and they're loving it.
Was thinking same thing...If you're not even able to search for the length yourself, how will you ever be able to place an order on the website?
The module length is 559.5mm, which is 22.02 inches. How long are one of these strips? Theyre back @ $5 so planning a build, gotta make sure I have room. Thanks!
LRS is a super cheap option that will work just fine. Just should mount them remotely to be safe. I also, would never use the 350. I'd suggest using a 200 & 150.What are your views on using a meanwell LRS-350-48 driver to power 6 strips? Would I be able to use more strips and for them to run them a little lower? If any one can help. Thanks
Hi thanks for the reply. Would you bit use the 350w driver because of a heat issue? Is that also why you say to mount them separate of from the led frame I make? Would I have 2 wire 4 to the 200 and 2 to the 150 is that how it works? Please excuse my lack of knowledge. I'm currently reading about how all this works. I'm looking to maybe running many strips at a lower watt so I can have them closer to my plants as I don't have much hight. I bought 12 of these strips lol.. I'm going to use as side lighting as well. CheersLRS is a super cheap option that will work just fine. Just should mount them remotely to be safe. I also, would never use the 350. While the LRS-350-48 is listed as an enclosed power supply, it doesn't offer the water resistance necessary for inclusion in the grow space. So, remote mounting of the power supplies is advisable.Hi thanks for the reply. Would you bit use the 350w driver because of a heat issue? As others have said, it isn't as high IP rated as other drivers so it's smart to keep it out of the tent. I say to use multiple drivers because of heat, yes. That, and the fact that having all your strips on one driver just puts you in a position where if OT dies, you have nothing. Honestly, 3 150s would be the best. There's no limit to how many strips you can out on its it just splits the output amongst however many strips are on it.Hi thanks for the reply. I've had to RMA 4 240's.I've had too many bad experiences with cheap drivers. I've probably sold like a 100 Mean Wells and never had a return yet.
