Look at the pic. Edges of the leaves are up. I said that because my autos did the same but under cob lighting. Most are under hps that the edges are raised

Either raise your light, dim the light(if can), or put a fan above the canopy to bring down the heat from the lights.

I was only joking earlier but I think there is a genuine possibility that there is a global coalition of defoliators who go around getting people to take leaves off of their plants to ensure there is less weed in the world.

Than a plant is aware of all the parts it has available. If you take off a massive fan leaf, the plant will know and the plant will adjust for it's loss. This is why defol will NEVER increase yields. It's like saying a hole gets bigger the more you take out of it...Well the opposite is true for defol. The more you take off, the more you end up with less by the end.

See, defoliation works. Look at all of the explosive growth since it was trimmed up to let light in on the bud sites. Dat's what im talkin' bout b.

you can always selectively defoliate tough. Often beginners do the mistake of removing everything thats not bud or stems and that leads to some catastrophic failures of many kind

I'm actually doing this as an experiment. Any other gardener would have probably run into mold issues by now unless they were really good at keeping the humidity down within the canopy. I'm doing it through the feed by replacing water in the interstitial space with calcium pectate by actively increasing uptake of Ca through the use of Amino acids.

Completely fair...trimming is hours upon hours of work. I was going pretty slow but it took me 16 hours to trim 2 lbs excluding the popcorn nugs.

If I had trimmed ALL of the lower branches I wouldn't be able to make 2kg worth of oil. I still haven't looked into hash and rosins yet. There are other ways you lose out when you trim the plants.

Sometimes, if they get to the point where I think they could get caught in my zipper I will trim them. Also like being trimmed if I have sex with someone I don't know...more for first impressions and hygiene reasons. Actually, when I think about it more. I don't like seeing bush on women. I trim with the expectation that the person I sleep with will trim too. Fairs fair.
