I’m growing a Barneys Farm Glue Gelato Auto and whilst the plant is defo a female and has grown ok, it’s not been the best of plants to grow.. it’s not very resilient in my tent, and tends to be extremely sensitive to the amount of water you’re giving her. It’s not herm’d though.

personally I would avoid using their seeds for future grows as I believe there are far superior seed breeders out there - but others might argue differently, it’s just down to personal opinion.

I aquried a 5 pack of Barneys farm Blue gelato 41. And I have only popped one bean. I took four clones off the mother, and am budding them now at 3 plus weeks of 12/12. I haven't seen no issues yet. They are a fast growing strain, lots o vigour. I can't wait 7 more weeks. But I still got 4 more beans for my summer grow.20200329_145031.jpg
I haven't seen any sign of hermi. on these and hope not on my other 4 beans.

Got light leeks in your grow? Like ANY light at all in the dark period. I had a small fan heater with a tiny red light on and the plant closest to it hermied. Make sure you don't have any light

Grew out BF Pineapple Express, vanilla kush, and critical kush. Was not overly impressed with any of them and I had more than a few herms as well. I attribute the herms to fem seed genetics and possibly some light stress on my end but there are better choices than Barney’s farm. There’s so many great breeders out there; BF is not one of them. Probably why they have such a wide distribution; every seed bank carries their gear. Marketing 101 ...If you cannot sell good quality than sell mass quantities at a slightly lower margin.

I've run a few strains from Barneys over the past couple of years and encountered no issues.
In fact, I've run dozens of strains over the years and I've only encountered nanners on one.
