Are these ready???

Hey guys..... I’m a first time grower and at the tail end of my first grow. Everything went pretty well with only a few issues so I don’t want to mess it up now. I’ve gone thru so many posts on this forum and looked at pics but think it’s best to get some expert advice on this from u guys who have been doing it forever. I have these two plants that I think are done. They are a gorilla glue and a Walter white auto. I have a jewelers loupe that isn’t the greatest but have a handheld usb microscope coming Monday hopefully. From what I can see on the loupe the trichomes are just starting to turn amber on the leaves so I started flushing them last night. Do you guys agree these are just about done and what I’m doing is correct?? Any advice is greatly appreciated..... thanks everyone 2875B9F5-71F6-40B6-A654-F73F939262CE.jpeg

Based on how they look, I'm going with at least 2 more weeks and possibly as much as 3-4, but I like mine "well done", and you'll get much more accurate estimates, if you could post some trichome shots through the loupe. I'm harvesting my OG Kush tomorrow and I saw the first small signs of amber about 3 weeks ago.

Thanks I don’t know this aspect of it yet but I think I want them more done also but with it being my first time I don’t want to over do them and wait too long. I also have Other plants in there and tried to do as much research as I could for time frames but looks like I undersold it because I thought they should be ready right about now or in the next few days. I took some pics of the trichomes while holding the loupe up to my cell phone. I have a better mocroscope on its way but this is the best I can do for now..... thanks for looking!

Yeah, I'd say you have a minimum of 3-4 weeks based on those pictures. The only amber trichomes I was able to find were on sugar leaves but you want to go by the ones on the calyx.

Ok thanks this is all new to me and the internet has so much information on the whole process but this is one aspect I haven’t been able to lock down. Also it’s the one aspect that when u screw up u can’t fix so I’m just unsure of what’s right..... thanks for your input!

You'll find the perfect time to harvest your plants once you get multiple harvest under your belt. Everyone has their own preference of the type of high they are going after.
