Only deleaf your plant according to its leaves deteriorating naturally, diseased or wind burned. You should not cut more than 1 fan leaf and a time unless they are the very bottom ones near the cotyledons, then up to 3 if they are old and show signs of yellow or dry crisp when feeling them. If your leaves are yellowing more than 2 leaves or 3 every several days, you have a problem with your plants health.if the leaves are not yellowing from the bottom up first, you've got a problem with your plants health. Here are my latest 3 King kong strains. 2 are hermie, but I have enough experience to manage them decently. I don't mind hermie because the advantage is they usually grow bigger and with massive top buds if you give them enough light up there. But even lower buds if you wnt them to get bigger too. When plants are tall, its even more important to have lower lights because of the limited range of high quality light. You can see the range with your hand, its usually lower than what light sellers claim. The shortest one is the only pure female, so far. The other relatively short one at the far end is hardly hermie, and the center tallest one is still a manageable hermie but starting to get annoying. I just trimmed a massive lower fan leaf on the center hermie, but I only trim right during watering time because cutting or injuring the plant helps it transpire, it also helps air get to the soil especially if they grow leafy like mine. Watering is best when the plant transpires more than usual and always cut early in the morning and try to keep waterings no later than early afternoon.

I usually deleaf a cpl days b4 I go into flower..Instead I deleafed at about a week or week and half and now I can notice that my flowers arent growing as fast..does anyone have any experience with this or have they done this? I'm thinking I put them into shock.Im a little worried because there are some that i didnt do because I wanted to experiment and wait til day 21 instead. Those plants seem to have better growth in my flowers. Anyone have any suggestions?
Read my other post on this page, I show bunch of pictures of 3 King kongs so you get an excellent idea of how much deleafing you should do base on plant size. I never touch the leaves at the bottom until they at least start to show signs of deterioration. Leaves die faster if you let sit in the soil and let chlorinated water or high sodium water splash especially on the lower leaves. When I water my plants i make sure I stay away from the leaves. The strength I water depends on how large the plant is. The same applies to the frequency

I always deleaf throughout flowering, again based on leaf health mostly, and a bit to do with lack of light reach very bottom leaves. I grow monster buds even if I lollipop a bit. If you do it too much at once, yes, you will slow down flowering, even make your plant sick and die, but thats pretty extreme. I only grow King kong but one if them may be a White Russian but they both are not far off in strain. Also, the more side light you give to the bottom leaves, the longer they will live and want to live resulting in you needing to cut them as soon

This number means nothing. People pull 4-5 pounds off single indoor plants. Just a matter of how much time you spend in veg and how much light and space you have.
Not too sure what strain that is lol, very few, if anyone pulls 4 to 5 pounds per plant unless they got a big grow room or massive ventilation. I have a 4 inch vent and i get nowhere near 4 pounds per plant and for this 40 square footer, I would not put any more lights aka heat in here. The average is up to 5 ounce but most people only 1 - 2 ounce per plant. There is the other aspect of people not weighing their buds properly or weighing the whole plant. Lol

Even if you grow the same plants for longer, the demands keep increasing and you can only put so much light aka heat in a small grow room. Also, anything bigger than a 4 inch vent will look pretty ridiculous for a house

LOL I averaged 4oz per plant off my last AUTOFLOWER run. Thats dried, cured, well trimmed weight. Strain doesnt really matter that much, if you are growing a photoperiod, you can veg it out big enough to produce any amount of bud.

The kong for example will produce max in the 700 of grams and that is usually outdoors. There are of course rarities

I have a 6'' fan hooked up to an 8'' filter in my 5x5 tent. And i have a 8'' fan pushing air out of the grow room so it always has negative pressure. Smell is never an issue. I see no issue with the way it looks....

Not true. You are limited to space and amount of light as ive said before. If you are talking about total amount after cutting and reveging the same plant, that is not what people are talking about here. Revegging is like starting a whole new grow. Ive done it, many times

Who says I'm limited? I have a 3 beedroom house with a full basement and I live alone. I could veg out a plant to fill a 20'x20' space if i wanted. 12-16 1000w lights over it.... mmmm i can see it now.
