5 gallon dwc canna aqua I’m receiving some kind of deficiency idk what it is and it progresses as they mature in flower I keep my Ppms between 800-1200 I also supplement with cal-mag+ my ph ranges from 5.8-6.2 I flush once a week with plain r.o water I originally thought it was mute burn as it seems to start at the tips and works it’s way in also keep my lights 16” away from canopy so it’s not light burn I keep my daytime temps around 72-78 F and rh is between 45-55% any info would be greatly appreciated I’ve been dealing with this for sometime now.

That’s what I was thinking but why would they handle 1200 the first week into flower but not the 5th week?

I think you should lower the dose of CalMag supplement by half during middle to late flowering. This might lock out phosphorous and potassium imo.

Ok sounds good I wasn’t supplementing with cal mag just started recently because of this issue and saw that canna doesn’t contain much calcium or magnesium but I will try that thanks for the info

classic over-nuted. that 2nd pic sure is super green, kinda pretty
Thank you so you recommend I drop the nutes down to 700 ppm? And it’s an alien og that’s in the second picture these are three different strains at three different weeks in flower but they all develop the same issues as they get further along that’s why I was trying to show the progression of the issue

make sure your mixing your nutes in the right order. It goes RO water > Cal-mag > Silicate > Micro Nutes > Bloom Nutes > Ph down last. Some strains don't like high ppms

I think I need to find a silicate because canna I don’t believe offers one. But I add nutes part a then part b catazym rhizo then boost is that not the right order?

Cut back on nitrogen or add nitrogen? If it’s a deficiency I should add right?
I think this is a ph issue. Flushing with plain RO water is risky because it doesn't have a stable ph. You should flush with tap water or RO Water with lite cal-mag at least to give it a proper Ph. Your plants don't look that bad tbh

I've nvr used the canna parts A and B. But i blieve with those nutes your suppose to go less parts of A and more parts of B later into flower. It depends on NPK ratio. Id check if they have a recipe somewhere. Id cut out the rhizo thats meant for veg. Id stick with the canna boost until the last week of flower. Id look into getting molasses and silicate. I see a big difference when using these in my rez. Also burnt tips is a indicator of nitrogen burn and your plants look dark green. but your too far into flower to really do anything. Just improve yo week to week recipe for next grow

Ok I will look into those and I use very small amounts of the rhizo to keep the roots healthy 1ml per gallon and if I had nitrogen burn wouldn’t my leaves not be dark green? I thought the dark green would be a result of the phosphorus

And I do have a little rhino skin which is a silicate from advance nutrients when I used to use them should I just supplement some of that into my canna line?

any silicate is better than no silicate imho Also why add more nitrogen this late into flower? I wouldn't
