This sums it up easier than I can. But it's mainly about creating multiple colas that are all getting equal goodness and the same light, etc.

Here's a pic of a manifolded clone only Green Crack that I grew last year at day 21. She looks a little slim because she was stuck in my veg tent too long with just a t5, lol, but she got better under the more powerful lights in my flower closet. I still have clones of her that I hope to keep happy for many more sessions.

If I have extra time I might do it, but anymore I just prefer to top and then LST. Everytime you top the plant it needs a little time to recover, and I don't care if all my buds are exactly the same size.
Here's a few weeks ago. Just topped and LST'd.

Ya, I've been growing continuously for a year and a half now. I keep having to buy more cases of mason jars. I'm actually about to fill up some more in a few days. No weed shortage here, lol.

If it's dried, cured, and stored right it will last a long ass time. I've still got weed from my first harvest almost a year and a half ago, and it's still the bomb. It may have lost a little color and smell, but it's still tasty shit, maybe even better than before. It gets smoother as it cures.
