Ozone Generator for Smell

I'm in to 8 weeks grow (6 plants) in a basement. The Skunk smell is strong. I have two vents open for some air flow but the smell is strong. I could make a Carbon filter of some type and put it on a vent and force air out (with a blower). In the past I've used an Ozone Generator to eliminate smells. I was thinking on trying the Ozone generator on the lowest setting and trying to increase the amount to neutralize the smell. I'm somewhat hesitant to just blow it out a vent without trying to eliminate some of the smell. I'm about 150' from a cart path on a golf course and "someone" might recognize the smell as a Grow. I guess the 3rd idea would be to blow the Skunk smell out at night.

I'm not using a tent. I just have drop cloths around the area to stop the light (from causing the foundation vents to GLOW at night). I could order a Tent but I just don't like ordering stuff that could throw a Red Flag. God know's we are Tracked and Watched by every electronic "thing" in our life.

Ideas?

If you are exhausting, put a carbon filter on before the fan to filter the air.

They also make inline ozone generators.

if your using ozone inline u should prob run it thru galvanized ducting for like 25 feet renfro said 10-15 before to me did not work so well needs a lot of area to combine. and make sure u seal the galvanized.

Back when I had to worry about smell before we were legalized. I built a cabinet , basically just a box that I could put an ozone generator or Ona gel inside of.

I had a vent fan that pressurized that box and then a vent from the box to outside.

If you run an ozone generator in the box and the fan at the same time it'll kill any smell going outside and prevent the ozone from burning your plants.

Clear as mud?? Lol

You typically don't want the ozone touching your plants. It's fine in low doses, but I've heard it can damage plants in higher concentrations. There is also the issue of terpenes to consider as it can affect them. If you use ozone, use it either inline as mentioned (if it's designed like that), or build a separate area (box as mentioned) for the exhaust air to go first where it is ozoned.

I use carbon filters and they help a lot, but there is still some smell. A neighbor of mine just puts those carbon filter pads over his exhaust window and it doesn't work at all. If you're going to use a carbon filter, buy the round inline carbon filters specifically made for this purpose.

If you really want to have zero smell, carbon filter into the "ozone box", then ozone that out :o)

Another option is to just move to a more cannabis friendly state :o) And, half the people on that golf course smoke, so don't stress it too much.

Thanks for the Replies. I was uncertain if a small amount of Ozone would hurt but the Box w/Carbon filter and Ozone I'm sure would eliminate the smell 100% (and during the exhaust, suck in outside air). Even with a couple of vents open to flow some air, opening the door it smells like a Skunk got under the house. I have a duct booster fan that will work great with the box idea and it's a 110-120 volt and just connect it to a foundation vent.

Heres fhe issue i had with carbon scrubbers, i found out that humidity is like carbon scrubber
Kryptonite, the higher the humidity the less a scrubber works. I would say anything above 50% humidity and the effectiveness goes down.

One time At 100% humidity out here i changed all my carbon out, (20lb of carbon) and it worked for about 12 hours. That was when i implemented the ozone box.

Pipes ran through the back of closets and out the roof is a good idea too
